That's great. We will be waiting for the skin updates.

My JR7 site is working fine but I am getting the following error when I go to Marketplace > Tools > reload modules or Skins:

'Unable to process your request
he system has encountered an unrecoverable error - please try again shortly'

The 'reload modules or Skins' menu item URL points to:

mysite_dot_com/marketplace/system_update/all=1

As you can see, there is this parameter: 'all=1' at the end of the URL.

But if I try to access this page straight from the browser address bar typing:

mysite_dot_com/marketplace/system_update/

there is no problem and the page just loads fine.

How to fix it?

By the way, the JR S3 module will also work with Wasabi, which is also a S3-compatible object storage, right?

Woow!!! I am so impressed to sse how smooth was the upgrade from JR 6.5 to JR 7. I have successfully managed to upgrade my JR site.

Thanks a lot and congratulations for the upgrade. You guys have done a great work.

I was getting sad and kind of discouraged to use JR again because of the lack of innovations and major upgrades, specially to support PHP 8, but this J7 version made me smile again. Thank you so much.

By the way, will the skins (Follow Me, Elastic etc) also need to be upgraded?

Also, please could you mind to make JR7 to work with a S3 Compatible Storage like 'Wasabi' to lower hosting costs? I have a Wasabi account that I use with my other projects. I would like to use it with JR as well.

I have tried to follow the tutorial you posted here:

Unfortunately, it seems that the Amazon S3 Media Module was removed from the Marketplace. I couldn't find it. Please advise.

PHP 8.1 compatibility for JR and Smarty 4.1.0 Released!

I am not talking about Smarty 4.0.0, but rather Smarty 4.1.0.

As you can see Smarty 4.1.0 has been released with major changes and PHP 8.1 compatibility.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your reply. I have done all you have suggested but the problem mentionned in my first post continues.

I have started having it after migrating to a new server. Are you able to uninstall User Link module and install it again from your system (Marketplace)? I am still getting this 500 error whenever I try to install it as already explain above. Then I can not access any module pages anymore.

If I delete jrLinkProfile and jrLinkProfile-release-1.0.2 forlders from the module directory via SFTP and run the integrity check, everything goes back to normal on my site. User Link is the only module giving me problem. I have been using using it all these years without any issue at all. After this server migration it started giving me this headache no matter if I do a fresh installation of it from the Marketplace or not, after removing it completly from the server.

Any other suggestion to fix this issue? Thanks!

Error with the User Link Module

Hello,

There is an error with the User Link Module. I don't know whether i's a bug or not.

After installing it from the Marketplace, my admin area started giving me a 500 error (in Chrome) or a blank page (in Firefox) whenever I try to visit any module page by click on it in the menu in the right side column of the admin.

e.g.
mysite.com/jr/follow/admin/global
or
mysite.com/jr/uploaded_video/admin/global

The remaining part of the site, both frontend and backend, works well. It's only the module pages in the admin that are having this problem.

The weird part is that I have checked in both server log (cpanel) and data/logs/error_log (SFTP), there is no error report.

Here is the only error I received while trying to run the repair.php:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare jrLinkProfile_meta() (previously declared in /home/xxxxx/public_html/xxxxx/modules/jrLinkProfile-release-1.0.2/include.php:50) in /home/xxxxx/public_html/xxxxx/modules/jrLink/include.php on line 60

This error gets fixed (disappeared) only if I delete the module folders: jrLinkProfile and jrLinkProfile-release-1.0.2 from the server using SFTP and run the integrity check.

Please note that my JR and all the modules are updated to the lastest version and everything is green (ok) in the system check.

Please help. How to fix this issue?

Are Combine audio and Combine video modules discontinued?

Hello,

The Reload button of the Combine audio and Combine video modules are gray in the Reload Modules Or Skins page. No Changes, no Channel, no Status info. They are stucked in the version 1.0.14.

Are they discontinued? Should we uninstall them?
