JrAction JSON parse error

Jamroom Developers

No quotes around _item_id should be fine with json as long as its a number. So just guessing on a quick look, I'd check encoding first:
audio_split":"{\"1\":\"100\"}". Looks different.

I dont understand the "line 3 column 9 of the JSON data " of the error, any idea where that relates to?

Module Ideas?

Off Topic

Both cool names, and you'll take both them to gigs, so inevevevitably cool kids. Congrats Paul and family! Hello Annika.

jrAnnika should piss, shit and wail on your jamroom until it's been installed for around six weeks, then it should smile a bit and win hearts.

Baby Annika - Rock baby, rock.

404 IPN error

Using Jamroom

They sent it to you because that's what you have entered into the box in your paypal config. They are sending it BACK to you.

Remove it.

smarty scope=parent

Jamroom Developers

Yes, that does work :)

I'm using a skin dir template, so no overrides needed: the perfect solution.

Thanks Brian!

smarty scope=parent

Jamroom Developers

I'm trying to use smarty scope=parent in an assign in an included template. It seems to be working up to a point - I can see the assigned value in the debug window when debug is triggered after the include. But I can't use the actual variable, {$testthing} is empty although it shows as having the correct value in the debug window.

The including template (the parent):
{jrCore_include template=$_scroll.scroll_section_template}
{if $_scroll.scroll_section_template == "testchild.tpl"}
    {debug}
    testthing is {$testthing}
{/if}

The included testchild.tpl template:
{capture name="testthing_capture" assign="testthing_assigned"}ROCKON{/capture}
{assign var="testthing" value=$testthing_assigned scope="parent"}

Should $testthing be available in the parent template since it's in the debug window? (it is null in the debug window if scope is not set in the assign)
Example 7.11. {assign} in the scope of calling template
http://www.smarty.net/docs/en/language.function.assign.tpl?#idp7975424

Thanks

jrCore_list limit

Using Jamroom

Use 0 for unlimited.

Could also be that you are seeing pagination rather than a limit?

Dont fk up the culture

Off Topic

No, there was no point of advice. I certainly wouldnt be the one to give advice on anything like that.

I liked the article, I liked it's style, and it did make me think of JR. So I posted in off topic.

I don't understand. You are a microprocessor programmer? I thought you did mixing desks and music.

Dont fk up the culture

On a comparison with Airbnb, probably yes, although The Jamroom Network Team and JR5 has definitely refreshed the visible culture. "families or tribes", nicely flexible. Core values upheld every day.

That's not a ruin on the road ahead. I have no idea what it is though. Maybe a run down pub with a cool back room for bands? Somewhere to build an audience from? Or just jam on (equally fine)?
