I can't actually buy things via the marketplace (although I want to, and keep trying), and I can't give you access to my localhost setup, so I guess I'm of no further use on this one.

Using Jamroom

When I go there, it shows lots of threads as unread.

I generally use the "mark all threads as read" button several times a day (but it doesn;t work much).

All of the forum categories show as read, but not under the my posts tab.

I'd add to the Suggestions forum: A top level "mark all threads as read" button, but only if it doesn't work like the current forum category "mark all threads as read" button. That doesn't work.

You are not getting any data into the "[0] => _item_id in " part. You'd need to remove that part of the query, or get a valid set of ids in there.
