integrity check hanging

blindmime:
Aparna doesn't clone a module of your choice, unlike the skin cloning function, it simply makes a basic module you can start with.

Thanks blindmime, that's good to know. I thought it worked like skin cloning.

Following/unfollowing a topic

Using Jamroom

Here on jamroom .net you can still follow/unfollow a topic even if the topic has been closed for you. Which doesn't seem right.

I found that out when revisiting an old thread (last posted to 4 days ago) but couldn't add what I wanted to add because the topic is closed after 3 weeks or 4 days. Great.

The user ends up on my forum, doesnt get notified of threads, cant pm me, cant email me, I cant pm them, I cant email them...

... and I can't post to the original thread.

Finding things and communicating with people is not really working for me, but maybe I am doing it wrong. Should I be using the timeline?

jrComment module bug after renaming a Module URL

Using Jamroom

You need to name your modues when setting up your site.

You have no need to rename your modules from day to day.

If you rename the module, it is like cloning the module: Donc, it is a different module.

Is there somewhere in aparna for you to enter your developer prefix?

integrity check hanging

Using Jamroom

"PHP Fatal error" may lead to the solution.

Maybe either a problem with the way aparna creates clones of modules, or you have an error in the module you are cloning from.

Forget the php warnings again. As you already know, they are php warnings, thats all.

integrity check hanging

Quote: This began happening immediately after I created a module with aparna.
ok, I'm not ana parna user, but it does just clone the base module? (I think)

The inevitable question: what shows in your error log?

I frame not working

izhmel:
I now get This iframe is not allowed

Do you now "get This" in that you "get it" and the problem is now solved?

It's always difficult to tell with you Iz: Bumping into things makes louder sound.

I doubt that creating it via aparna is relevant.

If it appears in ftp, you have done an integrity check, and your module still doesn't appear, your module has errors and you need to fix those before it will appear.

What happens if you create the module via aparna, make no changes, and then look via ftp? Does that new module work as expected?

Profiles using ujCategories

Archived

Hey Danne,

Is ujCategories working for you? Do you need any help to get this working more/better?

I am sure it will work for you, and (personally/me) I need to test module users and how they want to use the module. Any feedback is great (not many people are using this module), any feedback at all is very welcome.

Feedback please. I can give a lot of support (sometimes immediate), but because this is a baby of a module, I need all the feedback I can get. So, for me, feedback please, I will love you for it :)
