Wow - I'm surprised to read this.

Don't be too surprised Brian, it's a cynical numpty planet.

Delight in all things fixes that, paradoxically.

A "my last posts" page on jamroom.net

Suggestions

Occasionally returning with a vengence, but rarely recalcitrant, not having a "my last posts" page might be a slight foil to people like me.

It would be most useful (to a user like me), to be able to get back to myshared threads quickly.

Imagine me waking up in the morning wondering if my previous evening's posts had been too passive - not good for my pubic image. Or if the converse is true.

I'd need to check those threads before breakfast and recomment in the fresh, refreshing light of day. A quick way of doing that on the jamroom.net forum would be cool. Extra cool if I can do it automatically before grabbing the croissant.

Yu didn't need to read that did you? It was all in the suggestion title.

@pch I think you are confusing skin and module.

You can name your module url to anything you wnat.

In your skin you can name your template to anything you want.

Does that about cover it?

There is a module which will cope with category/genre listing. It's being tested on a client site at the moment and will probably be in the Marketplace next week once description and documentation are written.

Hi Steve,

Sounds interesting. More details please. What is the module about?
Any demo?

Thanks

The details will be posted as soon as they are written.

But it does categories nicely.

Doc for Digital Ocean / Linode hosting

Jamroom Hosting

I think that's a huge effort you are doing there Brian.

I expected links to DO articles - install lamp like this [link], then change this.

I'm loving the detail though, and I'll try this out at the earliest opportunity.

Thank you Brian!

New "Like It" module has been released!

Announcements

From a user perspective, it isn't inconceivable that you might dislike something a while after you have liked it. I will always generally support the ability to retract your vote, an endorsement is not a permnant deal at the stroke of a pen, it depends on future performance.

So I like having Likes, and dislike not having the ability to dislike at a later date.

It isn't a fought for vote, it's a Like/Dislike. Of course you can change your mind.

Using Jamroom

Its charting profile_view_count, not sure how many days ago I installed that, xo I'll give it another few days to see what happens.

Thanks!

problem with charting with jrCharts

Using Jamroom

Theres no docs yet for the jrCharts module, so I dont know if I have this right:

			{jrCore_list module="jrProfile" chart_field="profile_view_count" chart_days="7" tpl_dir="jrNovaFuse" template="artists_views_row.tpl" require_image="profile_image" pagebreak=$_conf.jrNovaFuse_default_pagebreak page=$_post.p}

The charts aren't being ordered correctly, and I'm not sure if it is my function or not. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
