Ok, I'll get that added into the listeners. I guess there needs to be an on/off switch in config for turning the system on once it has been configured.

Not sure, but are you adding pager=true ? Its used in Nova and I don't see it in your codeabove - does that make the arrows appear?

Tried a few more times, received a success message, and posts are moved around. But all counts are thrown out in both the category being transferred from, and to:

Just tried the transfer again and got this error:
Query Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE view_time = UNIX_TIMESTAMP()' at line 4

Could be that this is related to the form designer, I guess you cannot have sections in a form designer form.

If you put form fields in sections, they appear in the wrong section.

For example, make a module form with 3 fields in each of 3 sections, when it is displayed section 1 has 1 field, not 3, the other 2 appear in section 2.

They then move to a different section the second time you view the form.
