Can anyone offer any tips to help me resolve this? Thanks.

Mike

I just took a quick look at your links and got a white page for log-in which means you're no longer getting the error 500 that's a step in the correct direction.

You've tried repair.php and that didn't correct the error
dedicated server or shared hosting?
What admin panel are you using Plesk, C-Panel or ?
Flavor of Linux and version (CentOS, Debian, Mac, Ubuntu)
The more you can tell me the better I can help you get up and working again, no one likes to be down

440Music Testing 6.X Multiple Question

Installation and Configuration

For those of you who were using JR v3 and v4 before updating to v5 or v6 I would like to ask:
Did you do the update or hire the JR team to help?
What server OS and Web Server?(Apache2, HTTPD or NGIX)
Have you expanded to multiple servers? if Yes
What is involved with management?
Do you edit the templates or CSS?
What files would you change first?

I just got JR 6.x working and I'm testing let me know if you see any errors or what I can do to improve the look and flow.
Thanks

I'm running v6 on a local address which at present isn't available out side my network

PS once I learn the new version and get comfortable with it I'm sure you'll find me very helpful.

Install from version 4 backup and then upgrade to newest version

Installation and Configuration

if you're still unable to connect v4 to the database you have a zip file named setting.zip I'll attach the file if you don't have it.

1.) UnZip and upload settings.php
2.) upload settings.php to mail directory
3.) go to your URL/settings.php

this will give you access to set the connection to the database

I'm testing the 6.x Pro version on my home server to see if upgrading is what I want to do. I'm upgrading from v4.31 to 6 and hope I don't have to install v5.x before I go to 6.x

If you need additional send me PM(only if it's OK with the JR team)
settings.zip - 4KB

v4 Hold Out

Using Jamroom

B the .htaccess file was lost in the transfer and the last email I can't find which has the lic # the Western Digital hard drive failed on a reboot. I think the heads burnt on the the disc.

P, good to see you're still involved, when can I steel you away from Brian? LOL if I tried to steel you I'd have to ask Brian to join and god forbid I get him to accept. I've installed 6 on my local server and I'll play with it, the reason I didn't change to v5 was the directory structure, I had to learn JR all over again and I'm just a hack I'm not a coder. I'll get back with you on 6.x I need to be able to redesign the layout to be totally custom. I like the database that runs JR4

v4 Hold Out

Using Jamroom

This is directed to Brian,
I had to move hosting services and my lic isn't working and v4.x isn't supported any longer would you allow me to remove the code that searches for lic? Sure would help me out as I'm hoping to have web site and all radio stations in-house before the end of the year.
