After editing page, redirects to index page

Using Jamroom

There are dev tools in IE, but I am not overly familiar with them other than quick prototype css changes.

This is what the console shows after editing a page and being redirected to home.

future feature request ninglike (but better) chat module

Ning To Jamroom

I have used a lot of php chat systems over the years and have come to the conclusion that they all take up too much resources. Even as good as Cometchat is, it has the same issue.

IRC even though I haven't used it in some time, still seems the best way to chat online. I would be an advocate for clean intuitive php frontend to an IRC server, that the Jamroom team controls, and then rooms can be created via the admin panel.

IRC is too complicated for your normal user but an intuitive interface that passed the IRC commands at the click of a button could be a win win.

Just my 2 cents

Widget Builder Help

Using Jamroom

Hey

I know this is a tedious task, but more flushed out help within the widget builder ? areas could really aid in learning Jamroom for beginners.

ie. for sortby, list a number of examples etc

Thoughts?

Is there a way to list the posts or pages we are following

Using Jamroom

I will at some stage in the future look at adding a small timeline to each of these pages for just the artists, businesses etc a person is following.

I started adding pages for this have a look at this thread https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/my_posts/15246/a-list-of-artists-a-user-is-following/

Its for who your following but you might get the idea from it.

All New Profile Groups modules

hmmm been mulling this over, given most users will probably have comments at the very bottom, what about an option to decouple comments from the item details area and then the header stays with comments?

Padding

Using Jamroom

Strange, I had updated completely before, but I do see styling changes in the latest version of Slate and there appears to be adequate padding between widget blocks now.

Widgets rearrange after editing

Using Jamroom

Good to know, may be just perception but have you done any optimisations? as the edit elements seem to be more responsive now.
