Just looking at the way featured content is handled by skins and thought there may be a better way.

Have a jrFeatured module that would allow the following

Any item/profile could be featured for a set amount of time, ie week, fortnight, month.

Featured status could be purchased via the site by members or given to by admins.

Skins would of course have to be updated to allow this but it is another way to monetise your site.

This could also open the possibility of a bands fans promoting some of their content on the site.

Ah

Yes I have cloned the skin already (Media pro 5 light) and making substantial changes to it as I type. I wasn't aware I could copy and rename a modules templates into the skin folder to modify it on the fly.

Let me mess around with that for a bit to see where I get.

Yes I own seamless but editing the modules templates have me worried about updates which happen quite regularly.

If the hooks were prebuilt in it would leave this much easier, albeit not everyone would want it.

It's been sometime since I last looked at Jamroom, V3 to be precise. Impressed with what I have seen so far.

Hoeever, I'd like to see the likes of flickr module integrated seamlessly with the Jrimages module.

So that pics imported from flickr show with those galleries.

jraudio and soundcloud in a similar vein

jrvideo, youtube and vimeo in a similar vein

Thoughts?
