I see that there are three different language refs for Discussions. I.E. 12, 19 & 26. Which one, if any, actually links to the site Discussions? Or are none of these now relevant since Discussions appear to be integrated with groups? Thank you for your help.

I've noticed on my home page http://dev.cleartracks.com, that my artists and labels (profiles)images load instantly, while songs, mixes, and feed item images load slowly. Is there a difference in how queries are cached by jr for different content types?

Ning to Jamroom migration and SEO

I am investigating the feasibility of shifting from Ning to Jamroom, in fact the Jamroom team are working on my import currently. So far so good, one major issue I must address is SEO, my 5 year established Ning site is very well indexed by the major search engines and that must continue for this migration to be successful. How do I go about ensuring that my search traffic remains intact following a migration of this nature? Have you migrated to Jamroom already? What would you do differently?

Walled Garden - Skin's and Paywall

Hi all, We want to create a quota for our commercial users and create a walled garden for them inside the main site. We want to put this behind a paywall using Paypal payments or our Shopify system if needed. This area would allow access to special videos, documents and forum areas not accessible to our regular community. Can we use a different skin for this area, and if so, are docs available? I wasn't able to find anything so far, apologies. -John

Private Profiles and the Forum

I've just put a small update in place here in the Forums where you will need to have your Profile Privacy setting set to "Global" before you can post or respond in the forum. We've seen quite a number of profiles that are set to be private, which makes it so only the JR team can see the post.
