I am planning to use Jamroom to allow members to publish their music lessons and articles in certain categories beside their music, pics, blog etc.. I am not sure if Jamroom is the correct platform for this purpose. Any comment on this would be really appreciated. Thanks..

hi everyone, I'm new to Jamroom, migrating over from ning 3, I am having a hard time gasping everything, even after following the awesome documentation, I get lost when I get in the acp. I keep bugging tech support and they never complain no matter how many times they explain. if only there was tech support for comprehension lol, have a great day every one!
seo and gallery

when creating or editing apage there needs to be at least a minimal ammounty of seo control ie title desc etc as it is now im creating a shops page and the titles home|mydomain so is the front pagethe gallery simply says gallery with domain it really needs to be editable and the gallery has the name and the name under each image instead of a title and name
Archive and Purge

Given the size of our Comments, Discussion and Blog tables it would be advantageous to eliminate stale data. Considering this, we believe we can purge all records older than 6/1/2015. That would eliminate about 40% of the comments table. The idea of course would be to archive the data, delete and then reorganize the db. Ideally JR hosting has tested tools that can be safely used to perform this task. This post is to present our intent and get the best advice on how to proceed.

Hi, it has been a while since I used jamroom. Now I was very much surprised where you guys came so far. Very nice. So I thought maybe I could switch to jamroom with a media project. This switch would need a SOAP integration so that I could fetch the media data from my seperated "digital asset management" system and bring it into jamroom.Media alike videos, photos, categorie lists etc ... I have a question and an idea. 1. Is there an ability to search by zipcode? I had a client who wanted me to setup a social site for them (dating) and wanted to know if searching by zipcode was available. I believe this was discussed on the old JR4 forum. I realize that I can just add a field for the zipcode and search for a specific zipcode, but is there a radius search ability - 10, 20, 30 miles - in JR5? 2. Filezilla and Firewalls

I opened my site (stockbuz2.net) and had no problem uploading JR with filezilla. I was able to connect again yesterday morning but by afternoon when I wanted to upload the Ning bundle, I could no longer connect to the server. The error I receive is "Network error: Software caused connection abort" I'm running FZ 10 and see no new updates available. When I run the setup wizard, it times out.
