Archive and Purge
11/16/17 08:59:18AM, by TiG
Given the size of our Comments, Discussion and Blog tables it would be advantageous to eliminate stale data. Considering this, we believe we can purge all records older than 6/1/2015. That would eliminate about 40% of the comments table. The idea of course would be to archive the data, delete and then reorganize the db. Ideally JR hosting has tested tools that can be safely used to perform this task. This post is to present our intent and get the best advice on how to proceed.
Stations and Playlists

I've tried looking in the documentation as well as the forums, however I can't figure out how to create stations, as I don't have anything listed (Image attached). When I go to my music or video stations, the titles are all there (station center, top stations, newest stations), however there aren't any stations to play music or videos. How do I create them? I tried creating playlists, however that didn't work. When I click the "add to playlist" button on a song, I get the error "Error:...

I keep bugging tech support and they never complain no matter how many times they explain. if only there was tech support for comprehension lol, have a great day every one!

CSS and Stylesheets
01/12/15 05:09:45AM, by Rich (SP)
I was wondering if there is a place to put all custom css in one place in the backend? I would imagine its natural home would be in the /core/skin_admin/style/skin=blahblah section but it's not there. I found the following article which suggests that the only way to do this is by uploading a custom style sheet and calling it last in the meta file ... https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/suggestions/10868/customcss Thanks SP

Apache and Htaccess compatibility
08/04/16 06:16:47PM, by breescorner
Hello ... Is it possible to get Jamroom to work with Apache 2.4? I was able to install jamroom but I couldn't get past the first page -- all pages other than the home page came up with a 500 sever error. I contacted my webhost and they asked me to find out if the htaccess file could work with Apache 2.4.
