Questions about the Profile FAQ module (and a comment regarding 'forms')

This week I tried entering a FAQ item without success. The module is active and has been allocated to the Quota used by the profile. After clicking on the plus sign, I get a FAQ form and can "create new entry". I made a new entry, but seeing no category options in the category dropdown list I did not choose any category. Hi there, 1/ I was just about to write a blog post on my site www.find-et-band.dk - when I realized that the editor field was gone. I have been writing other blog posts without notising any problems. Why is this field suddenly missing? I have tried to change to a text field but that´s not working like it should. 2/ When for example write a blog post and delete it again, why does it still appear on my timeline? Hello! The problem is that the content text window does not appear, so i am not able to edit message, and also on members profile there is the same problem. Text box does not appear as it should, so i cannot edit text. Please, help!

@paul After importing, all my 7000+ Ning members are in a quota called Ning Members. As Administrator, I can see them all in one list and check their profile information, so I know I they have all arrived. Unfortunately, they cannot see each other, unless following the link to an individual profile from a forum message, or from a list of group members. We have a few people involved with what we do. We would like to add them into the Admin group and have our own section where we can interact. Is there anyway of using jrForum and setting it so only one group can see it in our main profile that we are going to use for the forum? Like hiding a category or something?

In the modules listed under "Forms" in ACP I cannot find anything that obviously corresponds to the form that I see when click on the settings button for my profile. It seems that everything related to the form in the profiles is controlled through the form embedded in the profile. Or is there some other place where I can design the forms used for profiles? handeling diferent url structures and the resultant "page not found' issues

since ning and jr will use a very diferent url structure how will the search trafic results be handled will all search results generate a 404 not found or will there be a graceful way of doing a i think its 301 permenent redirrection from the original url wich should then update the search engine results if they cant be redirected to the correct url could they be handled by a perment redirect to the front page (wich i think will feed it lots of link juice) and ..is there any way that...

the more active a forum looks the more likely people are going to want to join in on the discussions if the "currently are active in this forum" thing at the bottom was updated to include both logged in users and logged out visitors , it just makes even a low to moderately active forum seem much more inviting another thing that drasticly increases joinuing a site is seeing other people joining, the more they see joining the more likely they will join on a day when theres no joins in the...
