Lucid Skin Error gets my server blocked on Chrome and Safari
04/22/20 09:30:46PM, by jrblack1175
Hello. So, after the exchange about FollowMe not being a great skin for blogs, I went with a blogging skin, Lucid. Installed it, have been working with it... I am using the dark style of the skin and wanted to find out where the color for the font on the blog post information is - because it's dark gray on a black background. This has happened to me twice tonight... I scrolled on the Skin Style page - from the admin_log.css and tried to go to "base.css" I get a 403 error and am then banned...
Cluster ID, password and Queue Server URL for Hosting customers
04/10/15 12:58:58PM, by joshwolve
If you use jamroom Hosting and the cloud modules were installed for you... but upon tinkering you reset the credentials jamroom set up for you : (Cluster ID, password and the Queue Server URL)... How do you go about resolving? I believe we solved this elsewhere and the answer is to contact jamroom for the credentials again... but wanted to move this to its proper place for future reference.

From Ning to Jamroom: an account in Jamroom... and now...?
09/01/16 06:17:19AM, by hispavox
Hello, I want to move my page from Ning to Jamroom. I created an account in Jamroom (hosted 7 trial days). What do I have to do now? I'm confused: - I need 5 Gig Ning Site? https://www.jamroom.net/ning-to-jamroom/serviceshop - Or I need Ningla skin, or import Ning, etc? https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/bundle/18/ning-to-jamroom - Or other things? Another question: There is a Spanish version for Jamroom? Thank you for your help Fran

08/06/23 09:47:56AM, by brian
Some of you may already know since I pushed Jamroom 7 to the stable channel last week, but I wanted to "officially" announce that Jamroom 7 has been released! JR7 comes with a ton of updates, tweaks and fixes - mainly around adding support for PHP 8+ and setting up some low level systems to be easier to support going forward. There's also a lot of small updates and tweaks through out the Core and dozens of modules. I've also released a few new modules in to the Marketplace: Analytics The...
Jamroom.net is now running Jamroom 6
11/02/16 02:14:46PM, by brian
Jamroom.net is now running the latest version of Jamroom 6 The upgrade was performed this morning, and I apologize for anyone that was online at that time that may have been logged out and had to log back in - we ran into a small session issue that took me a little bit to figure out (due to several custom modules we run here on Jamroom.net to power the marketplace), and during that time we have some session "flakiness". We also took the opportunity to force everything to SSL, so all URLs...

I'm running on my own server. Is something missing, from the unzip of the software i received these directories .... Email Server Glitch Exposes Email Addresses for 7,618 Let's Encrypt Users
06/12/16 08:40:32PM, by jimmyk
The Let's Encrypt project announced yesterday that a glitch in the email newsletter system they used accidentally exposed the email addresses of 7,618 users. Let's Encrypt is a project launched by the Mozilla Foundation and the Electronic Frontier Foundation aimed at providing free SSL certificates, so site owners without large budgets can afford to run their sites via HTTPS. The project is extremely popular and in mid-April was bragging about having issued over 1.7 million certificates and...

Displaying events from one Jamroom site in another Jamroom site?
01/29/19 06:13:46AM, by K_K
Is it possible to display events from one Jamroom site in an another Jamroom site? Anyone currently doing this? Using RSS or some other way? I would like to show some events in another site automatically, using tags to select suitable events. Both sites are mine if that matters.
