Motagator
"When I was first introduced to Jamroom, it looked a useful application to manage the bands in which I play, or am associated, on a single website. It installed and ran successfully, and only then did I realize what Jamroom was about and its potential. Opening my site up to other bands I knew, I had a few takers, and am now in the process of promoting Motagator further. Motagator is open to all genres of music, but specializes in Cajun, Zydeco, Folk, Roots and Blues (my favorites). I'll be staying with Jamroom, wherever Brian takes it - it has been, and will be an interesting adventure."

FAQ Question

You will receive this error from your MySQL server when it has run out of “connections” that can be made to it. This usually happens because the server you are on has become overloaded, or an application is not properly closing the available MySQL Connections.  The solution to this issue is to raise the "Max Connections" setting in the MySQL my.cnf file.  This change will need to be made by your web hosting provider, as Jamroom cannot control the number of allowed MySQL connections.  The appropriate place to make the change is to modify (or add) the following line in the [mysqld] section of MySQL's my.cnf file:

[mysqld]
#
# * Basic Settings
#
max_connections = 250

You will need to restart your MySQL server for the new configuration to take effect.

For more details, please see the Too many connections reference at MySQL.com.
