Event Calendar import / export

Suggestions

If there is a 3rd party service that can handle the required conversions, it might be doable as a custom module. Trying to create an exporter that works with any 3rd party site is not something we'd be interested in creating, as it's likely to need specific formatting and options for EACH site you want to export to.

Custom Modal Help

Design and Skin Customization

Dazed:
It does not have to be the editor here. How about the basic comment box? How could I call that instead?

If you have the editor enabled for comments, then you won't be able to since the jrComment_form template function will use the editor.

Audio Pro - Couple of Questions

Using Jamroom

That "doubleverify.com/visit.js" looks like a 3rd party tracking script - you'll want to track down which of the JS's you're pulling into your site is including that.

Default Profile Index not changing.

Installation and Configuration

duke:
i have disabled tweeks on profiles , do i have to enable tweeks on profiles for this to work ?

Yes - you have to enable the Profile Tweaks modules in the quotas that you want to be able to use it - if it's not enabled, then it's not active for profiles in those quotas.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!

Simple Chat Pushes The Menu Off Screen

Design and Skin Customization

This is likely to happen on computers with small or narrow screens - i.e. 1024x768. To be honest I am not sure of a solution at this point other than to make the chat window as narrow as possible, or launch chat in the mobile window - i.e.

http://yoursite.com/chat/mobile

We have a ticket open on this but it's going to be a tricky one to fix if it is possible.

Chat issues

Using Jamroom

lornawebber:
we have a problem where text typed into a field on a page appears in the chat conversation even when the chat window was closed when it was typed.
Example: I attach two screenshots. I open the chat window on this page. After I close it, anything I type into the Search box comes up in the chat. I don't see it until I open the chat window again. In my second screen shot, you can see all the bits of text from searches.

I have just tested this here on jamroom.net chat and can't replicate this - you have access to the hosted chat here, can you let me know if you can replicate it here? If you can let me know the exact steps. The way I test was to close the chat, then run a site search, and it all worked.

Thanks!

Do Jamroom sites use cookies?

Using Jamroom

Dazed:
I have tested some international sites that must have the cookie disclaimer. What a waste of time and resources. Michael you guys should create a small module for international sites that require this though. Here is one I worked on for Zayo - http://www.zayo.com/uk/ . You can see it in the lower left.

Yeah this is probably the best idea. Would be pretty easy to make and have it do some sort of popup that has to be accepted. Note however that the EU has rescinded this law and it's going away.
