Will Jamroom work on Cloud based host and SSL Certificate

Jamroom Hosting

the 96G plan would work for now - you may find you have some space that could be cleared up on your current sites:

https://www.jamroom.net/hosting

Upgrading at a later point to the 192G hosting plan if needed.

That would be $89 a month and you'd get a really high performing setup.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!

You don't need a different server for each domain - you can run as many domains on your server as you want - you're only limited by the disk space. I have like 15 domains running on my dev server.

So what it comes down to is how much space are your 3 sites using combined?

Luis456:
I was planing to move to Jamroom hosting, but the cost to host the three sites with the package that I was looking for surpassed my budget more than expected. On top of that, I had already purchase the premium licenses a while ago.

What size of Jamroom hosting plan were you looking to go with?

Thanks!

Who's the provider for the "cloud base" option? I don't like vCPU's - they tend to me much, much slower than a CPU that has been dedicated to a VM.

Is that site on your hosted server? I've updated my sites and don't see this, so something is up.

Thanks!

Yeah for most purposes, an old spinning disk SATA hard drive is just not going to perform well - mainly due to the DB having to create temp tables, which on a old hard drive is going to be over 100 times slower than an SSD.

Your "new" server should be able to run 3 JR sites no problem - being SSD you'll see a nice performance boost.

Before you do that though (and I don't want to sound like a sales call) have you thought about JR hosting? Do you have sysadmin skills to manage your own hardware from a security stand point? If not you might consider hosting with us:

1) No worries about maintaining anything except your JR sites.
2) Free SSL certificates that auto-renew - no hassle
3) full backup system
4) VIP ticket support

I really should toot our own horn about this MORE, but honestly - it's a great deal.

If however you must host your own server for specific reasons, the "new" server you have outlined sounds like a nice upgrade from your current server and should be good.

Also - for that queue entry that is taking that long - it's failed several hundred times, so it's not going to complete - just delete it.

Let me know if that helps or you need any more feedback or have any questions.

Hope this helps!

That's weird that you would need to edit those fields. They are are based on the values returned in the $_SERVER super global, which in turn is pulled in from the web server. I would double check that the web server has not had SSL enabled for your domain - something is fishy there.

Adding Youtube information

Design and Skin Customization

You should not have to do this. the Jamroom module will get the title and description FROM YouTube, via their API. Have you properly configured the YouTube module with correct version 3 API info?
