The Media URL scanner queue entries are background jobs that try to get info from a remote site URL so it can create a "card". Sometimes the remote site might take a long time to respond, in which case the worker can get "hung". You can either manually reset the queue entries, or in the new Core 6.0.6 there is a new hourly maintenance worker that looks for "stuck" queue entries and tries to clean them up and get them moving again automatically.

This is not going to work like you are hoping - the jrFollower_who_to_follow function does not support a "search" parameter like that. Internally it DOES use a jrCore_list call however, so it likely COULD be supported - we can check it out. Note that we have quite a list of stuff we're working on here however, so it won't be immediately, but I'll get a ticket open on it.

Sounds like that top worker has "died" and needs to be reset. Do this:

1) Pause Queues
2) Run an integrity check with "repair modules" checked
3) restart queues

Then press RESET for that queue at the top.

Sorry to hear about this Jeff - I know you contact us via ticket, but wanted to add here that this has been one of the biggest issues for Ning imports. Ning does no email validation to ensure an email address is still valid, and consequently many, many accounts are likely to have bad email addresses. We're going to have to readjust our recommendations based on the feedback you received from Mailgun and make sure imported Ning sites use Kickbox for email validation and NOT Mailgun.
