Alpha Team Guidelines
Hey everyone - Gary recommended this and I agreed it was a good idea - basically outlining some of the things to expect as a member of the alpha team.
- By default let's assume any information posted here in the alpha forum, or the alpha chat, is private - i.e. what gets posted in the alpha forum, stays in the alpha forum
- Don't talk about new modules/skins/features that we release into the Alpha marketplace channel unless it's something we are ready to talk about. I've learned over the years that features can easily change during an alpha/beta period, so we don't want to get anyone excited about a new feature that is coming, only to have it get cut at the last minute.
- any "help" you guys can offer as far as spreading the word about JR - i.e. tweeting about Jamroom, retweeting the
@Jamroom twitter feed, liking things on Facebook, posting to forums, etc would be
really helpful as you guys are going to come across as more impartial since you're not part of the JR team
- any help you guys can provide in the main Jamroom Support forum is also really appreciated - that frees us up a bit more for development.
Let me know what you guys think or if I overlooked anything.
Thanks!
