Error with Jamroom licence

I have sorted it... it would appear that there is an error somewhere in the code of the latest version - 5.3.5
I installed it using version 5.2.41 with no error.

We install JR 5.3.5 every day - I'm not aware of any issues with the installer - the error is telling you the file is NOT found, which tells me mod_rewrite is not function correctly or the files have not been uploaded to the server.

Display a New Module Template?

You can't show a module template - you need to create it as a skin template. ALL the templates provided by modules are there as "defaults" for the skin so a skin designer does not have to create templates for each module.

so in your skin create:

whatever.tpl

and it will be available at:

yoursite.com/whatever

You can pass in variables as well - i.e.

yoursite.com/whatever/brian

The $_post.option variable would contain "brian" in the whatever.tpl file.

This is for the PHP Error and Debug Log files. you can add an fdebug() call into PHP code - i.e.
fdebug('log this');
and it will show in the data/logs/debug_log file.

Some people might not know what they want until they see the idea and then go "wow, I need that for my site, I'm going to sponsor the development of that mod". Then, once the mod is done, allow the sponsors to get the module a month or two before the rest of the community and maybe a banner or something on their profile that says they donated toward the module creation.

That's not a bad idea - we'll kick that around and talk about it.

We've been discussing this offline, and want to come up with a solution that works for everyone. We know the forum is a central place for users to look, but we need to make sure questions for 3rd party modules/skins are directed to the proper place.

We'll come up with something that hopefully does a good job of exposing the latest updates, while at the same time ensuring we're not the first-line support for 3rd party modules/skins.

Scratch what I said above - it USED to work that way, but have just tried it on this end and it's not. Here's how to do it:

1) name your files like 'screen1.jpg', 'screen2.jpg', 'screen3.jpg'
2) uploaded them and they should appear in the filename listing order (so 1, 2, 3).
