You will no longer see anything named "profile2" since it has been renamed "profile1" - however, the _profile_id of the "new" profile1 will be the id of the old profile2. So it may look the same, but it is different.

This is not an issue and is correct - ratings and comments belong to the USER account, not the profile, therefore they can still be changed since the USER did not change.

Can you clarify what the actual issue is? It's not clear to me.
If a user has 2 profiles (profile1 and profile2) and deletes profile1, then profile2 is still left and they can use that. If you allow self deletion, then the user can delete their account from your system.

If the user has sight problems they will likely be using an assistant program for their browser to help them (which will take care of that) - otherwise they will just be able to navigate using the browser key commands (which are browser dependent).
Module for CRM
Suggestions
CRM is a but different, and can get VERY involved. There are entire companies built around CRM, so I'd recommend checking some of those online systems out - they are going to be a lot more complete than what we can offer in a module.
If you have some ideas for a "simple CRM" setup, let us know what you're looking for.

Jamroom uses the Twitter follower model in that if User A wants to contact User B they first become a "follower" of User B, then User A can send a private note to User B.
This puts the power of whether to communicate with another user in the hands of the user. You of course could develop something custom if you feel you need something different.

Amazon SES can have very low deliverability - it uses the same IP address pool that Amazon uses for EC2 and therefore A LOT of the IP range has been blacklisted - i.e.
