PayPal Buy It Now Button and Form Designer Question

Using Jamroom

Ceri:Just starting moving my site ( AmeriCymru ) from Ning. A lot of work to do but I am amazed by the possibilities and potential of the Jamroom platform.

Two questions:-

1. Can I set the PayPal Buy it Now button so that it is possible for non logged in members to purchase from Profile pages. At the moment I am being told that I have to log in.

This isn't possible with the PayPal Buy It Now module - the reason is that it does NOT use IPN, and therefore the user has to be logged in so it knows which account to add the items to.

Quote:2. Trying to create a File Description field using Form Designer. It does not display on the page. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? ( See attached screenshots )

Note that is in the file/update screen - not file/create - make sure you look at the "update" form for an existing file and you should see it. Everything on your screenshot looks good.

Hope this helps!

derrickhand300:Yes "Calendar View" was the part that kept showing past events...

Well I am trying to make default galleries so that anytime someone uploads an image it has to go in one of the default galleries.
To do this I made 6 categories to choose from in the form designer ( in the gallery_title field)

Then I used item list code to display each gallery by gallery title...but when someone uploads an image and selects a gallery- the image still creates its own gallery and does not display in the default gallery that was made for it

I just did this exact thing here and it is working for me. On the "Create Gallery" screen I clicked on "Form Designer", selected "modify" for the gallery_title field and set things up like I have in my screenshot. It's working for me here.

derrickhand300:No Never saw that- just days of the calendar were wrong- event times were wrong- would not remove past events etc etc...I just removed it...Im going to try and find a 3rd party event calendar that's easier to work with -I have SEVERAL long days of work in creating this one...Im not wasting another minute in it. :)

I think if you had used the Events module "stock" as it comes, it likely would have worked for you. I can't imagine that integrating a 3rd party calendar system is going to be easier, but maybe it will be.

How Do I Turn Proxima Off?

Installation and Configuration

Lynnbird:Please see post update above. Changing log colors or text colors does nothing. I need to change the global site base color. And yes, after wrestling this for over a year, I would definitely say I need help and badly.

Changing the log color is going to change the colors in the Activity Log.

You need to choose the "html.css" file and change the background color of the body element.

EVENT CALENDAR is screwed up

Design and Skin Customization

derrickhand300:Brian has my log in details...I think the best way for you to see whats happening is to log in as admin- then try to change the dates on NOV 15th to Nov16-then you will see the problems

Can you let me know what event you're looking at? Also - did you customize the create/update event screens and REMOVE the time field and replace it with your own? If so that is not going to work - your custom multi select does NOT have the logic in to properly account for the GMT offset and local DLS conversion. That's just not going to work.

soaringeagle: comparing pager tpl
between b1 and b2 they are identical
there was no change if there was you forgot to include it in the package

no changes should be needed - it SHOULD be correct. Does it only happen in your forum?
