URL Mapper

Installation and Configuration

sekeri:Yes, you are right. It works when I login with a normal account. I should have guessed it :( Sorry!

No worries!

where's the jrUser 'bot button' code update located?

Using Jamroom

I just reload the User Accounts module and reset your caches and it is showing now - not sure why it wasn't previously, but you should be good.

Hope this helps!

Suggestions

Dazed:Not yet. I am hoping my post will inititate one. If this continues, I would almost prefer to drop OneAll and just go with regular signups. At least I can control it better that way, at the loss of the user experience though.

OK - let us know if they get back to you.

listing one quota above another

Using Jamroom

blindmime:Yeah, I was hoping for a way to do it in the jrCore_list call. Brian says the "in" clause should do it, but that's not working for me. Am I doing it wrong?

It only works if the IN clause in the search is searching on a KEY that is from the module being searched. In this case the IN clause is looking for quota_id, but you're probably listing from a module that is NOT the jrProfile module.

You will need to do it like Paul shows.

URL Mapper

Installation and Configuration

sekeri:Yes sure, that is the page. Because URL mapper does not work properly when I am logged in.

It goes to the redirected page correctly when I try it without logging in.

It's working properly - Site Builder will give the option to create that page if needed, which is correct, and is how Site Builder works. There's no way "around" that if you are a Master Admin - if you need to "browse" the site I'd recommend a normal user account.

Alternately you can turn off Site Builder...

Hope this helps!

Dazed:Actually I posted on their forum yesterday so was hoping for a reply sometime this weekend. If you guys can tie into their api and have it route through the ban system, that would be ideal.

They have a ban system?

where's the jrUser 'bot button' code update located?

Using Jamroom

It's there right now if you go to ACP -> Users -> User Accounts -> Tools -> Whos Online. It will show up in the "Users Online" dashboard section once the next core release is out.

Hope this helps!

Troubleshooting delayed emails

Using Jamroom

The way you would debug it is:

1) Do something that sends an email
2) check that the email queue us created in the jr_jrcore_queue table
3) watch for a worker ID to pick it up and work it

The time between #2 and #3 should be at the most a few seconds. You can also watch the queue viewer - look at the queue latency and see if anything is being worked.

Let me know if that helps.

Song Slurper Lives Again?

Design and Skin Customization

Ken Rich:Hi Brian,

It's primarily the MP3's I'm after, and I know there was a "slurper" in JR4 which could possibly be resurrected.

Nothing from Jamroom 4 will run in Jamroom 5 - it would have to be created from scratch.

Quote:If it could pick the 128 bit MP3's and associated images and data from the tables, and copy them to a folder, that's all I need.

Please tell me someone there can do this, as it's beyond my abilities. I'll pay if I have to.

If need be I will pay for the development if it's something I can afford - I really, really need this.

Yeah no problem - contact us at support@jamroom.net and we can check out your requirements.

Hope this helps!
