Embed Audio Playlist Not Working

Using Jamroom

Have just tested this here and don't see a problem. Do you have a URL to a page where it is not embedding? Double check too that you're not overriding any playlist templates - the audio and video player templates have changed with JR 6.1

Account page linked profiles can become unchecked

SteveX:Resetting caches and form sessions doesn't fix it. I will try it on another site later.

Let me know if you see it on another site - if you do, and I can get access to it, I can check it out.

Thanks!

Dazed:Resolved - queues were all paused for some reason after the upgrade to current JR Versions.

NewsLetters

Using Jamroom

I see it working on your site. I just looked in your DB and I see the "prep_newsletter" worker is working and creating the queue entries.

The newsletters work like this:

- you submit the form
- the "prep_newsletter" worker goes to work gathering up all the users that COULD be sent a newsletter based on your criteria
- filtering happens
- the prep_newsletter worker creates new "send_newsletter" queues
- when all is complete, the "send_newsletter" worker picks up and starts working to do the actual sending

Note as well: Any newsletters sent to Yahoo, AOL and Hotmail users will "trickle out" over several hours. These systems have rate limiting in place - this means if we were to send them all at once, most of the emails to those systems would be dropped. So in a big send, if you have hundreds of users with yahoo, AOL and Hotmail addresses, it could be 10-12 hours before all newsletters queues are fully worked.

Let me know if that helps.

Hmm.. so somehow the password fields have become required, even though the form designer shows them NOT being required. Try going to reset caches and reset the form sessions just incase your session has got messed up somehow. I'm not sure what it would be.

Is it possible to grab an rss feed of entire site?

Using Jamroom

Zachary Moonshine:I have an auto poster set up for my facebook that grabs the rss feed from my blogs i post on my site but i was wondering can i somehow grab an rss feed from my entire site that will show everything posted all youtube soundcloud and blogs?

There's no way to do this currently that I can think of - would need to be something custom.

Sorry!

Account page linked profiles can become unchecked

Using Jamroom

SteveX:Hi Brian

Password and repeat password are not set to required, yet I can't save the Account form without entering a password.

Weird - that doesn't make sense. I've just done it here and don't see any issues. Let me make sure I understand the issue:

- is it that it is asking you to enter a NEW password on the account settings form? I.e. it is highlighting the password field
- is it that you save your changes and then are taken to a page to enter your password?

Thanks!

Account page linked profiles can become unchecked

Using Jamroom

SteveX:My guess is that I shouldn't have to enter my password 3 times: the password in the form; repeat password in the form; then get redirected to a page to enter my password once again.

This is correct if you have the ACP -> Users -> Users -> Global Config "Re-Authenticate" option checked. This is a security feature:

- on the user settings page you will enter the NEW password twice to ensure you entered it correctly
- on the next page you will have to enter your EXISTING password in order to make the change

Also - go into the Form Designer and make sure both "password" and "repeat password" have not been changed to REQUIRED - otherwise you're forcing your users to change their password every time they want to update their user settings.

I will check on the linked profile check boxes.

User signup not firing listeners

Installation and Configuration

Update to Proxima User 1.2.2 - there is now a new "user_created" event triggered by jrProximaUser. Note that due to how Proxima User creates accounts (user and profile at the same time) it does NOT trigger the jrUser and jrProfile events from the User and Profile module - you will need to listener for the jrProximaUser "user_created" event for user accounts created in Proxima.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!
