I've got the chat working properly now on your site. What I did is add a little check into the chat listener to ensure it can only added the chat template code to a page ONCE. That way, even if your templates are not correct (i.e. double closing body tag) then it still works right.

It already does - if there are new posts in chat when chat is minimized, it will be highlighted. Looking at your site however, your chat is messed up - something is broken and causing the chat to be added twice.

This post is about Stream Pay If possible, make sure and open a new post for new issues. I've only been online a small amout this week, but will be back to a normal schedule next week.

The "profile_balance" key is common among all payment systems for Jamroom.

Yes - this is the profile's balance. The formatting is due to how databases store floating point values - you can ignore it as JR will properly format it for you.

Stream Pay - To Stream or Not to Stream?

Jamroom tries to protect the user's media from being downloaded without payment IF there is a price on the item, thus it only streams a PREVIEW. If you set it up like you have outlined, then users can simply "save" the stream and bypass paying for the item. If you're OK with that then you'd need to create a custom form field to handle the extra upload.

Have set this to investigating - I thought there was a notification option for timeline updates by users you follow, but I'm not seeing it (at least not at fist look) so will check it out. What we want to avoid is having to make each module "notification aware" - we'll want this to be part of the Activity Timeline module.

making alt tags required in posts and galleries

I would recommend NOT requiring alt tags from your users - that's going to be a pain - just make sure your templates have alt tags set everywhere that automatically use the appropriate info that is available from the item.

Yes - if the user chooses to create a timeline entry when creating the blog, their followers will be notified.


Whenever you change systems there is usually NEW features your users get access to, while not all OLD features are supported or available immediately. Hopefully your users aren't too disappointed if they feel this isn't working exactly like your old site.
