queue depth

Using Jamroom

The Core Queue Viewer will always look at the "local queue" so you can view the local stuff there. Let me know if that helps.

I just looked again, and that user's notifications are all turned off. When I looked a couple of days ago, only the Followers was off. She may have turned them off individually, but there is no "unsubcribe" event for her account in the activity log. Anyway, that would seem an odd course of action if she has been generating followers in some way.

Well if she were receiving notifications on new followers, she may have just come into her account and changed her notification preferences to all OFF - that would not generate an activity log entry.

queue depth

Using Jamroom

DannyA:
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. My main server dashboard shows queue depth of 20. My queue server is a separate server and when I look at the queue viewer, its empty.

The only thing I can think of are queues that are not sent to the queue server. I'm not sure how to check those though.

Looks in the jr_jrcore_queue table.

note JR 5.3.0 has some good improvements in the queue viewer section - not sure if you have had a chance to check those out.

Installation and Configuration

DannyA:
I'm not sure how much it costs, but it should probably be free. We already have to pay for the respective cloud module. The skin just help keep the interface clean. e.g. we already have to pay for the conversion worker running on another server, it's tough to jusify doubling the price on each server just to have a clean landing page.

It's part of the bundle, which seems to be the way users purchase the cloud modules. My worry with making it free is that "normal" JR sites will download it and install it and wonder why it does not support any of the "regular" JR stuff. I'm 100% certain that would happen.

Music Player Question??

Using Jamroom

Go into ACP -> Skins -> Elastic -> Global Config -> Players, select a player and save.

Let me know if that helps.

I've looked through the follower code and I am not seeing any issues - the "follow" action is all hard coded on the user doing the clicking of the "follow" button - there's no way to change that to a different user_id (even master/admin users cannot make someone follow a profile).

I've never heard nor seen this before, so I'm not sure how it could happen. I'll do some more followup just to make sure it's not something happening by a maintenance action on a module, but I've never seen that happen.

Trying to update the cloud skin but it says I have no license, even though I purchased the cloud bundle. I think it's maybe because I got the bundle when it was still in beta

I'm not sure what server you were trying to update - I added it to your "dev" server. Note that all JR modules/skins are licensed for 2 servers.

That's very weird - I've not heard of anything like this happening before, so I'm not sure what it would be. It makes me thing the user found some way to trick the script into making someone else follow them - I'm going to do an audit on that part of the module and make sure it is tight and cannot be manipulated.

Admin Skin switches on different pages

Using Jamroom

SteveX:
Thanks Brian. Then maybe admin should see the profile template when creating as well. It's very jarring having the skin change on you in the middle of the ACP.

What I think would be best here is to check the referrer - if the user is a master admin and is coming from the an ACP location (tools, dashboard, etc) then show the admin skin - else show the profile skin.

I can check that out.
