Jamroom 5.3 Beta Kickoff

Announcements

soaringeagle:
but the issue with the unrated items only showing when logged in is a much more pressing issue

This should be fixed in the latest Seamless release - update and you should be good.

Thanks!

Trying to add a java slider to a blog post...strips out code

Using Jamroom

This is being stripped out by the WYSIWYG editor - not Jamroom. I'm looking to see if there is a way to make this work, but I'm not sure at this point.

contact us at support - something is not right - this is how everyone customizes the templates, so I know it works. We can check on it for you. Thanks!

Is the template "active" in the template section? Make sure a check mark is in "active" and then scroll down and save.

On my phone now so sorry for being terse but that URL is actually the item_list.tpl - sorry - edit that and add your code in and it should show.

Trying to add a java slider to a blog post...strips out code

Using Jamroom

Strumelia:
Ok, I took out the literal tags... but it's still stripping out the whole 'script,/script' part, and leaving only the initial 'div/div' part. See the code above, but without the 'literals'.
This is within a blog post, in the html code.

So you're clicking on the small "source" button then adding it in that way?

Invalid App ID

Yeah that is all normal stuff - no basic auth in there though, so something is wrong. On the server try this:

a2enmod auth_basic

then restart Apache:

service apache2 restart

That's on Ubuntu - change the restart command to whatever for the OS.

If you're setting this up for a customer, you could have them try it for free on our hosting:

https://www.jamroom.net/hosting

That way you can see if it is a server issue.
