Create user / invalid key

Proxima

Black-Eagle:
Hi Brian,

my authentication header's value was wrong.
I tried again and I could create a new user successfully.

Thank You.

Glad to hear that you got it working - thanks!

Result search problem

Proxima

With the master key you can (of course) update ANY record in JR. When using the Client Key however, there are restrictions in place:

1) The user MUST have a valid session (i.e. they have logged in)
2) Only THEY will be able update their own user information key/value pairs

Let me know if that helps.

Are there still lofi and hifi audio options in JR5?

Installation and Configuration

What I would recommend doing in this case is to upload the MP3 file as a 320kbps (this will be the "original") and then the system will create the 128kbps version during the conversion process.

That way you end up with 128kbps and 320kbps version of the audio file and can make both available, without impacting charting, etc.

Let me know if that helps!

p.s. Thank you for being such a long time JR user!

My posts not showing in Timeline viewed by others?

Using Jamroom

If they are admin users I do not believe forum posts are added to the timeline at this point - I'm not in front of the code at this time so can't be sure, but we can check it out.

Brian,
I swear I put the value in there. What happened after that I don't know.
But I will send you a ticket with the missing google code.

You want to put in only string in the CONTENT part - not all the HTML that Google gives you - just the part between the quotes right after:

content="put in this value"

Jplayer - youtube videos/playlist

Jamroom Developers

Nope - it is against YouTube's TOS to play a youtube video in anything but an embedded YouTube player. I'm certain there are hacks out there that try to get around that, but it's not something we will support.

Sorry!

I see you are still missing the value.

Send the Google code to us in a support ticket and I will add it to your meta tag manager for you.

Thanks!

Create user / invalid key

Proxima

Proxima uses HTTP basic Authentication:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basic_access_authentication

You need to make sure the value is base64 encoded - I've not actually tried to do it using Firefox (I have a test suite I use that uses command line curl) but it _should_ work as long as the authentication header's value is correct.

Hope this helps!

It didn't verify.

I am looking at your site right now I can see that the google-site-verification meta tag is NOT on your site. I've just logged in to your ACP I can see that you have not properly added it.

You need to:

- Delete the existing google-site-verification entry from the Meta Tag Browser by clicking on the "delete" button
- down below create a NEW Meta Tag:

- Tag Name: google-site-verification
- Tag Value: This needs to the long string value you received at Google
- Tag Location: Skin Template: index.tpl

We're doing that here on jamroom.net and I know it works.

Let me know if that helps.
