Using Jamroom

Yes - the option needs to be signup instead of login (has to be the correct URL view).

Remember me - not working

Using Jamroom

I've never seen any issue with this in any browser - I have 2 dozen Jamroom sites on test on as well. It's a simple, cookie based setup - the only way it won't work is if the cookie is missing OR it's value has been tampered with.

How do i mention people in posts ?

Using Jamroom

I haven't seen this "not work" - you will need to give us more info to go. Where are you placing the mention at?

In "User account" module, what does the "max profiles" number mean?

Using Jamroom

Yes:

1) Max Profile = Max Profiles they can create
2) Allowed Quotas = Quotas they are allowed to pick from

Let me know if the Help text in the config form is unclear on these and I can update.

Thanks!

Menu's

Using Jamroom

I will have to double check that Site Builder menu support has been added to Media Pro - I will do that when I'm back in my office in the AM.

Members not getting notifications -more often lately?

Using Jamroom

1) You do not need the Mailgun module - Mailgun is "built in" at the server level on our hosting

2) I would remove the throttling limit - you do not need to set that

3) You need to set your "from email address" to an email address from your DOMAIN - i.e. "support@fotmd.com". You do not want to use a gmail address as your from address if you want to maximize deliverability:

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/jamroom-hosting/2654/creating-email-aliases

Let me know if that helps.

Menu's

Using Jamroom

You can modify the menu in Site Builder by:

- as a master admin click on "Site Builder" in the lower left corner of one of your site pages (not a profile_
- click "menu editor"
- add/update menu items
- the new menu items should appear in your site header

What skin are you using?

Hope this helps!

Members not getting notifications -more often lately?

Using Jamroom

I've just checked the local mail.log on your server and it is all "green" - everything being sent from your server is being received correctly by Mailgun. Have you confirmed your user's notification options? Have you tried sending them a test email from the ACP -> Communications -> Email Support -> Test Email tool?

Using Jamroom

It sounds like things are working correctly then - as long as you're not seeing a bunch of errors in your Mailgun log, you should be good.

'De-activate Member' has glitch.

Using Jamroom

Yes - this is all controlled by the System Core -> Global Config -> "default cache seconds" setting. By default it is 300 (5 minutes). Set it to whatever you would like - the lower you go the more often the page will be regenerated, which will make it appear "slower" for a larger percent of your users (since it will not be cached more frequently).
