soaringeagle:they dont support postfix so wont install it ill just remove the whole mailgun module and say screw it

"When" a URL was added doesn't matter to the URL scanner module. It handles them the same.

I suspect that your add on search engine is adding things to URLs on your site. For example this URL:

is NOT a Jamroom URL. Jamroon does NOT add the text= stuff - that's something that is being added outside of Jamroom. This is the Jamroom URL:

I suspect that this is messing up your output by adding this stuff in, as I'm not seeing any issues here. Embedding this URL:

That's not how it works. When you paste in a YouTube URL, the URL scanner replaces that URL with a call to it's own "parse" function, which in turn loads the urlscan_player.tpl file from the YouTube module. THAT loads up the YouTube video in an iframe, which ONLY uses the YouTube ID - it does not use any other part of the URL. So if you're seeing that on your iframe URL, then check that you've not customized the urlscan_player.tpl file.

That works no problem for me embedding it here locally - the URL scan correctly handles the URL.

kish09:thanks for the quick reply brian. i have spoken to godaddy and their server migrated, but it is not down. they told me there is a new "database hostname" but there is nowhere on the settings.php page for me to enter "database hostname", just "database name" and "database username." In addition, there is still no button to save the entries. See here:http://movementunes.com/settings.php

I think your settings.php script is corrupted - unzip it again from the settings.zip and upload it.
You can then enter new MySQL info:
database hostname - "Server Name"
database name - "Database Name"

It's not being added by the URL scan module. I just cut and pasted a YouTube URL into an action update and the URL scan module is correctly showing it. Make sure you are not cutting and pasting that extra stuff in the URL.
