Cannot advance pages when viewing Image gallery

Using Jamroom

Note that the next version of the core (6.1.6) has been really improved to "detect" this type of situation and basically fix itself, so ideally you'll never see a corrupted template again :)

Login problems

Using Jamroom

misterskeet:It will not say that I've entered the incorrect login. It will just go to that profile page but will not be logged in.

This sounds like PHP session support is not working correctly on your server - what's happening is that you're actually logging in, then the system goes to redirect you to your profile but the session cannot be loaded on the profile once you arrive there. Who are you hosted with, what version of PHP are you using and what version of MySQL are you running?

Thanks!

Elastic2 menu on profile pages doesn't work on iPad Pro

Using Jamroom

Actually looking at this more, I think we only want the hamburger menu on mobiles - not tablets. Tablets should show the desktop version since they typically have enough space to do so.

Elastic2 menu on profile pages doesn't work on iPad Pro

Using Jamroom

I found the root cause for this and have it fixed in the next release. You can fix now by editing the profile_footer.tpl and changing this:

{if jrCore_is_mobile_device()}

To this:
{if jrCore_is_mobile_device() || jrCore_is_tablet_device()}

Elastic2 menu on profile pages doesn't work on iPad Pro

Using Jamroom

That indicates that the slider does not work - not the menu. I see this on my ipad as well and am checking it out.

TinyMce Image Margin Not Showing in Firefox

Design and Skin Customization

You could try:

figure.captionjs {
    padding: 10px !important;
}

The root cause is the custom caption module you're running works differently on FF than it does Chrome.

Modifying Notifications

Using Jamroom

You would have to do something custom - JR purposefully gives users full control over their notification options.

Sorry!

Jamroom 6.1 has been released!

Announcements

researchcooperative:but requires manual scrolling through all the templates regardless of whether they need to be updated.

When a skin is updated the templates that were changed are listed in the change log - there's no need to look at all templates - only the ones that are changed.

researchcooperative:I wonder if it would be possible for JR to provide a more comprehensive skin update tool (or skin management module?), one that automates the process as far as possible.

The Compare tool already works pretty well - you can:

- "reset" and bring over the entire new template
- side by side compare the new template versus your custom template and bring over any changes line by line

There's really no way to automate this any further - there's no way for us to "know" what you want changed and not changed, so we give you the tools to make the correct decision.

Privacy config controls for profiles and accounts that I wish to take offline before eventual deletion

Using Jamroom

The Privacy settings in your quota config for the profile module are defaults - they are assigned to a profile at signup time. Moving a profile into the quota will not change their existing settings.

If you want to OVERRIDE what the profile has set in their individual profile, you need to UNCHECK the "Show Privacy Options":

Quote:If this option is checked, Profiles in this quota will be allowed to change their Profile Privacy. If unchecked, the Default Profile Privacy will be used instead.

This will enforce the default profile privacy on profiles in the quota.
