Ahh - figured it out! Compare will let you replace custom templates with whatever's in the tpl - NICE! Love the diff view, and the ability to compare with the same template in other skins! Awesome!

Ahh thanks man! I checked the templates, and it does not say it's active (there's no active checkbox). However, when I click to modify the template, though, it shows the old (bad) code. I know I can make the change through the ACP to the template, but is there any way I can force it to refresh based on the contents of the actual file?

Thanks!

Hi guys!

I hate myself for asking this - I swear I tried searching for it, but have been out of the loop so not sure I'm searching things correctly.

I was dumb with my custom profile_header.tpl and included my meta.tpl and header.tpl file, even though meta.tpl is already included in header.tpl...so on my profile pages, it's causing issues because there's two sets of head tags. NO changes that I make to profile_header.tpl now appear in my profiles. If I delete profile_header.tpl, then I can see the profiles get all crazy, but when I upload the corrected version, it goes back to using the previously bad version. This is all over FTP, too, not the built in editor.

Tried clearing caches, checked logs, and everything else I can think of, and am at a loss now :/

Thanks!

Kyle

Alright - think I figured it out! My resolv.conf was:

nameserver 4.2.2.2
nameserver 8.8.8.8

I changed it to:

nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.4.4.4
nameserver 4.2.2.2

and now everything seems to load much faster! So something must be up with 4.2.2.2, because I saw someone else had the same issue with their droplet.

Thanks man! :)

alright, so I hardcoded a value of 30 for the timeout, and now it works (I think it was set 20?)...That seems abnormally long though, especially when curling it from my machine is almost instantaneous. If I ssh in to the server and curl it, it takes ~20 seconds. I have noticed that it takes a while to ssh into my machine, and SFTP takes a long time to reconnect each time I need to upload files, so maybe it's something with my server? I'm on digitalocean - any ideas?

Thanks, Brian! It should have cURL - it was working a few weeks ago and I could see and download marketplace items no problem. I tried changing the marketplace URL to https (it was just http) and it's still not loading :/ I also tried reloading both the core and marketplace modules, but no go.

Hey guys!!!

It's been waaaaaaayyyyyy too long! Missed you guys! I'm working on a JR site for my school's music program.

I'm seeing this error, too. I'm on 5.2.10 and marketplace 1.2.9. Tried resetting the caches, but still no go :/ This is the error from my activity log:

Quote: jrCore_load_url: http://www.jamroom.net/networkmarket/browse?type=module&c[] =stable&c[] =beta returned code 0 - error #6 (name lookup timed out)

I tried turning off the beta channel, but got a similar error for the stable channel. If I go direct to that URL, I get the results, and if I curl that URL from my server, I get the results, so something's weird...

Hope to be around more!
