well like i said the titles fine linking to the post itself the word commented can be linked to the comment that was posted

havent tested but a question when a link in activity says so and so commented on ...forum post link does that link tiake you to the forum post head or to the comment posted as a reply

just asking cause if the post has 150 pages of replies youd want the link to link to the last comment on page 150..the 1 just made not the post itself or ideally "commented' should link to the commentr and in 'post title' link to the full post

specifying item_list does nothing
trying to create my own out of what i saw in jrvideo item_list theres the assign module ujrvideo murl

so..whats the solution a ky_videos.tpl
with a if module= jrvideo item=jr video template=item_list
i know thats not right
or foreach item
if module = template = my custom template for that module item

i really thought the seemless should have worked without specifying a custom template and it would used the defaults

well thats the thing my disability makes for alot more typods as i only have 1 finger to type with and a very fast mind that my finger cant keep up with
so before that i didnt typo as much
plus... i sleep so lil and have a thyroid issue (mostly better now so my brain doesnt feel like jello sloshing around inside my skull anymore)

so running onempty with a soggy brain doesnt help

plus i spend sooooooooooooooooo muchtyme helping people online that my last keyboard had exactly 6 keys that u could tell what letters they were
this 1 only has 5 blank keys..but its also a 1/2 sized keyboard wich doesnt help (i will never use a smart phone those things are so dumb i can never get them to do anything i want them to do cause always hit something i shouldnt)

youd be amazedat how fast i can type though with 1 finger blurry eyes and so tired the keys are mocving around while i try to click them


believe me before i started letting myself sleep at sunrise id be up 4 days straight and then my typing was so bad..and i babbled so incoherently that i often cracked up just trying to figure out what i just said

havent been that bad in yearstho...not often anyway
only when dealling with a life and death situation and pushing myself way past my limits to save someones life..

oh..and the agony..tendonitis..corporal tuunnel and now a torn rotator cuff
all because ppl kee;p me so busy and i work so many hours

i push myself way beyond my limits

hey when i 1st looked at the code i was like oh my god someone help me im so lost
but every lil peice i figured out... wich took wayyyy longer then it should set off a lightbulb that lead to another peice of the puzzle

im still lost alot of the time
but already my sites extremely customized i still got a lil more to do but by the time im done my skin will have twice as many templates as the "clean' skin

im amazed how much ive learned already but ..i am still completely clueless about some parts and definateky not ready yet for php editing
but once im done this part i hope to dive into that

damn i got so lil done today i gotta stop going to bed after everyone else wakes up

well there was a missing ( it meant to read if not equal and (!= means not equal)
i had the sytax right just the ( was missing making that a sub part of the statement


but your right a typo cajndrive u insane

i originaly was tought assembler cobolt and fortran on a mainframe where youd write thousands of lines of code just to get it to print a report saying "this is a report' and a missing , or a , instead of a . would cause a crash and system dump then you have to sift through thousands of lines of hex code translating it into charachters to find the issue

i was so glad i broke my back and severed my spine and was saved from having to do that as a career!

yea i did say the last 1 i thought there might be only 1 but double checked
but its pretty logical profile header templates the profile header
you pretty much want to disable it all except the parts that disable the sidebar
and the includes etc at the very top....all the content you wanjt skipped over in a group



and i knew youd be happy and i tried to make it extra simple for you and others new to the code
