bug many activity links link to domain only

Installation and Configuration

Soaring have you run a thorough "Resize Item Images" in your Image Core module tools...for all site categories to reduce file sizes of images on your site to something reasonable like max 1000 pixels in any one direction, for instance? That can save many GB on your storage. Do you also have "convert to JPG" checked? You might also consider setting your delete image cache to like 3 or 7 days instead of 30, at least while these issues are going on for you.

Do "Private Notes" have an outbox?

Using Jamroom

Personally, I got used to the non-sent box arrangement on JR because now each email can be seen as the entire threaded sequence of back and forth messages between two people by clicking on the "expand all replies" button for that stream of to/from private messages. For me, that feels tidy and easy to keep track of.
Since we cannot send private notes to more than one person, we don't need CC lists of recipients like in 'regular' email.
When I 'expand all replies', the messages I have SENT are all there listed chronologically, along with their precise timestamp of when they were sent out...so I know they were sent- what I wrote and when sent.
But yeah I wouldn't mind an official Sent box either, but PJ- I just wanted to be sure you were aware of the 'expand all replies' listing of private messages in a neat thread, both IN and OUT messages.

Soaring, your last screenshot :
shows a Forum discussion post on the left in forum activity...but on the right it's showing someone leaving a comment on the comment wall of a profile named " @ ". There have been quite a few discussions now about the 'ghost members' with only @ showing as their name- and when you click to them it takes you to the site index page. The latest is that this has been fixed in the newest beta updates.
I don't think your forum discussion post in your screenshot is connected in any way to the profile comment to @ on the left in your screenshot.

But Michael it's good to know that it will be not an issue after I update...even if that's not for another month or two. I will wait, and I'm happy knowing it'll be fixed! I'll explain to my members. :) Thanks so much for taking the time to dive into this right before the holidays.

Michael, again thank you for fixing the notification links to to Liked forum discussions.

Were you able to take a look at the non-working 'Like" links described above...for Forum Discussions in the Activity Feed, as discussed in the last few posts above? (and i'm guessing it would need fixing for both non-Beta JR and the new Beta). It sure would perfect the 'Like' experience for my members and me while we are still not on the Beta JR.

The Like feature is starting to be used enthusiastically on my site and it is stimulating activity!- but those bad links for forum discussions are causing some frustrations. I really appreciate your time and effort. :)

Can't log in. I create an account but I'm not redirected.

N- I don't have large amounts of funding for my site, and I have very low ability to code or to manage server chores... I highly recommend the JR hosting package that Paul outlined above. I struggled for months on a cheap shared server (Arvixe, $10/month)... things were sooooo much better once I had moved onto the Jamroom server with VIP support and all the rest that Paul mentions.
I just can't recommend the Jamroom hosting package highly enough, especially for folks like you and me- and I find the prices to be very reasonable for all that you get in return. Sorry, I know this sounds like a commercial, but I'm just a super pleased customer.

Ah... :)
Not sure if they are actually different from each other, but- the problem is both on the Main index page activity feed AND also on the profile page feed of the person who did the 'Like'.
Thank you so much- I know you guys are really busy right now. This Like module is going to boost my site activity a great deal though- I am seeing that, ...and right before Christmas, too...so I'm pretty excited about it. Grateful for your effort!
