Shorten wasted vertical space in "About" blog?

My "About blog post, which is the first welcome info members see on my main/home page, has a title AND a sub title with lots of empty space around it. It hogs the screen for new visitors. I'd love to shorten it up a bit so they can see additional interesting stuff in their first screen impression...please see the screenshot.
Ideally I'd love to get RID of the sub-title altogether, but it won't let me. Plus, then where would the settings 'gear' icon go if I did that? There's an extra line of space underneath the gear button too that won't go away. (I wouldn't mind the gear icon overlapping the text or being at bottom etc)
I also don't have any extra line breaks at bottom surrounding the Paypal button, but there is a whole additional line of space both above and below that button too that I can't get rid of either.
What to do?

Thanks Brian. I did hear back from Mailgun, and they said pretty much what you said and they 'moved me to a less busy IP'...after which it now seems to be settling better...so far so good but I'll keep an eye on it. I just didn't want all those rejected/fails to up my bounce rate and make it seems like I was spamming people or something. I obviously dont understand that much about how this stuff works.
Seems to be less of a problem so far today, so maybe mailgun's IP thing helped.

After recent updates (non-beta), the "skins" menu in the Admin Hover module is not working right or showing skins right...see screenshot.
Happily, meanwhile I can just go to my "marketplace and access all my skins properly from there.

some AOL addresses clogging email delivery failures

In the past few days, these two members' AOL addresses have been creating more and more notification fails in my email activity log- see screenshot.
They both test 'deliverable' through kickbox. I'm seeing it also in my Mailguin logs and have opened a Mailgun Ticket.
But just wondering if others are experiencing AOL rejections nad/ofr if anyone has any insights as to what's going on.
I've now turned these two members' notifications OFF but I hate to do that cause they are good members.
p.s. experience has told me to not bother asking aol users to change their email address- most don't seem to have any other address... imho, it should be L O L, not A O L.
Any thoughts while i wait on Mailgun support?

I see a second domain on my server as well (aside from my fotmd.com), called "strumelia-861275.jamroomhosting.com"
I'ts got the Elastic skin on it, but I've never done anything with it. Like Ken, should I just delete that? (I mean, if I wanted to have another domain on my server, it wouldn't have a name like that.) Should I delete strumelia-861275.jamroomhosting.com domain from my server?

I'm real happy with my new slider- it's working beautifully now. It's easy to use, customize, and update, and it doesn't cost much.
Thank you so much for helping me figure out the script vs. iframe issues- I've learned quite a few helpful things.
