YT video user LIMIT number not adjusting after deletions since updates

Using Jamroom

Thanks so much Michael! I'll let that member know that in the meantime he can log out/in as a temporary workaround. :)

Do you know if it effected 'limits' on other tiems as well, such as Vimeo or Soundcloud or uploaded vids?... or was this just effecting the Youtube limits? Just curious.

Again, thank you!

YT video user LIMIT number not adjusting after deletions since updates

Using Jamroom

Oh, it might help maybe to see the member that is involved here, since he's the only member I have who keeps bumping up against the YT limit I have set:

YT video user LIMIT number not adjusting after deletions since updates

Using Jamroom

I have only one member on my site who has ever reached the limit I have set in my Youtube module "maximum items" quota setting... 150 YT videos.
He has reached the 150 number limit several times in the past, and according to him once he saw the 'limit reached' message, he has deleted a bunch of videos and has then been able to add more with no problem.
He says: "I have hit the limit many times in the past, always subsequently deleting a few videos to allow new uploads. But this time it is not recognizing the deletions."

Since my updates to the latest JR versions however, he again reached the limit of 150 YT videos this past week, got the usual limit message, then he went and deleted about 15 vids... BUT this time he is still being told he's reached his limit and cannot post more without deleting some. The member quota limit for YT vids is still at 150, and he has only 135 YT vids posted...
yet he still is getting the "You have created the maximum number of items of this type allowed by your Quota plan” message and cannot post more. (There is another Daily User limits setting I have set for a max of 3 YT vids added per day... but he never does that, he only posts like 1 or 2 videos per week, and never on the same day.)
I've cleared cache, done several Integ Checks, and I had him try again the next day. Nothing has reset or recognized that he is no longer at the limit of 150. This has only happened since my JR updates last week- he never had this problem before.

BTW- I'm experiencing this happening in my Youtube items, but I'm not actually sure if this is also happening for other types of items (like Vimeo or Soundcloud for example)... since no one on my site has reached the limits I've set for other items. So I can't really test it. Like, if I were to change the Vimeo limit to 3 just as a test, I'd upset a whole lot of users! =;-0 So depending on what's causing this, it might possibly be effecting other item limits besides Youtube vids, but that's hard for me to test.

Thanks for any help in figuring what's going wrong here.

Timeline entry pruning... ?

Using Jamroom

Yes I recently turned OFF the editor in the Timeline module ...once I realized some members were posting large jpgs in their timelines (that were not being limited by the image size limits I had in place for members in my Image Support module). But yes now that i've even removed the text/comment input ability from Timelines, shouldn't be a problem going into the future now.

I was just wondering if after the recent JR updates if it was still true that "Timeline entries that are manually created by users are never deleted."... and if that meant that any entries posted in the past would always remain on my server. I suppose if the profile/user were deleted sometime in the future though, and their content was removed- that would delete the entries, correct?

Timeline entry pruning... ?

My only worry would be if they could attach or embed files into their 'status updates', thus taking up server space forever. But you say one CANNOT attach or embed files (images, documents, MP3s, etc) into status updates.... they consist of only text? If that's true, then I shouldn't be worrying about any accumulation that would take up lots of space.... right? If that's so, then this thread can be marked 'completed'. :)
