Skype


General

The information on using the Skype module suggests to "Enter the user id who you want to use Skype with." This only appears to be available to Admins., and I am assuming I have to input the user ids of people I would like to use Skype with, not my own.

Where on user profiles should this be - do not see it?

How do other users use this module, or are thy not able to?

* activate the module
* get your publisher key from sharethis.com
* paste into ACP -> SHARE THIS -> GLOBAL CONFIG -> Publisher Key -> SAVE

Visit a profile. "Share This" is displayed at the bottom of the main page, and the bottom near the comments on all details pages.

Profile Forum Module?

Not sure here so need advice.

Looking through the available Modules, I see one called Profile Forum.

I understand that this Module is included in the Ning To Jamroom Bundled that I purchased, but I do not see this on my site.

In the Marketplace I see it is available for $19.00.

Not sure here what has happened.

Could you please clarified as to whether this is or is not included in the Ning to Jamroom bundle I purchased?

Got it - yeah those items can be shown on the email, since the email is a template as well and can be modified to suit your needs. You can modify it in the ACP -> User Accounts -> Template tab. It's called "email_notify_signup_message.tpl".

You can add user fields inside. For example if you have a field called "user_hometown" as a custom user form field, in the template you would add something like:

User Hometown: {$user_hometown}

And that would be included now in the email.

Brian,

The link in the new user email does not show the details asked for on the Create a New Account form. That is what I'd like to see before accepting users. That is why the questions are presented; so we know who is asking to join.

If I can see those somewhere it would be really helpful.
