iSkin bugs

Using Jamroom

Nate, since you're having a look at iSkin is there any chance you can add jrPage to the $_mods = array in the config.php file.

Cheers.

iSkin bugs

Using Jamroom

Thanks Nate, I wasn't sure if the override was intentional or not so I thought I'd mention it just in case.

Cheers.

iSkin bugs

Using Jamroom

I noticed a couple of bugs in iSkin...

If you add text in Global config >> Bottom content, it overwrites Language file content on index page 'go pro' text list. Also, the gopro.jpg image doesn't change although previously modified in the skin image config.

A quick question... in the GoPro section on the index page, the button link takes me to my admin profile. How can I control the URL of this link? I'd ideally like it to take visitors to a (page creator) page, not a profile.

Mick

iFrame using sub-domain

Using Jamroom

Hi Michael, thanks for your input.

When I try to add a sub-domain in the iFrame validation it just gets rejected with this error...

'You have entered an invalid value for "domain name" - value must be a valid domain name (no www)'

Should I open a ticket for this one?

iFrame using sub-domain

Using Jamroom

I'm having a problem with iFrame validation. I'm trying to add an iframe from a sub-domain of my JR install, but in the iframe control I get an error. It seems to only allow me to input domains without the www (and not sub-domains) into the field.

If the JR install and the sub-domain is from the same place, e.g. i2apps.co.uk and appbuzz.i2apps.co.uk shouldn't it work without the need to add the sub-domain to the iframe allowed domains list?

I've tried this on a couple of different JR installs and can't get it to work properly on any of them.

As a temporary workaround I've allowed all html tags in the Core control, but this isn't an ideal solution for me.

Can anyone replicate this issue?

Crowdfunding for Jamroom Skins and Modules

Jamroom Developers

I've crowdfunded lots of stuff over the last few years and never had a problem. I suppose it does depend on 'who' the developer is and how much faith you have in them. I think crowdfunding has more going for it than it has against it.

I think this would be a good idea.

What do you think?

Integrating my Appbuilder platform with Proxima

Proxima

Hi Brian, thanks for your interest. I have installed the (open source) control panel from https://www.buzztouch.com/BT-server/BT-server-3.0.0.zip

I have it integrated with my Buzztouch community account at the moment but it can run without having an account yourself.

Alternatively, I can give you ftp login so that you can download the files from my server, and play around with the file that I use.

I can also add you as an admin user over at appbuilder.intro2.co.uk if you'd like to see the admin end.

Cheers.

Integrating my Appbuilder platform with Proxima

Proxima

I'm not sure if this is the proper forum category for this, and I apologise in advance if this post is 'a bit much'.

I have an Online App building platform over at http://appbuilder.intro2.co.uk which I'm hoping to integrate fully with Jamroom Proxima so that I can have my users design their own apps which would then be hosted on my Jamroom/Proxima install.

Before I begin the monumental task of creating all the necessary bridge files etc for the integration I need some other opinions from anyone using Proxima who would like to have a login to my Appbuilder to try it out. You can download the resulting source files as a zip once you've created your app then all you need to do is compile your app e.g.apk file in your favorite compiler.

Anyone wishing to help me test this out please send me a PM with your email address and a password, which you can change after logging in to the Appbuilder.

Any and all feedback is welcome.
