Index_top.tpl won't edit

Design and Skin Customization

Even though I edit the file, and save it, it does not show edited to where I can select "active." The edited version of the document won't save.

Index_top.tpl won't edit

However, the file would not allow me to change it, so I still think there is a problem with it. I was just trying to change the wrong thing.

Index_top.tpl won't edit

Design and Skin Customization

I just figured it out. I had to change the language setting, as I was only changing the default value. Sorry to have troubled you!

Index_top.tpl won't edit

Design and Skin Customization

Hey there Paul! I hope you are doing well.

I changed the index_core.tpl file with no problem. All I'm trying to change is the list items inside the quotes. No code changes other than that. Didn't think the quota name change did it, but couldn't think of anything else I might have done. I did use the compare, but it only shows me the same file twice with no changes.

Index_top.tpl won't edit

Design and Skin Customization

I keep trying to edit the Index_top.tpl file in Elastic2, and the edited version won't save. I had changed the default "Example" quota name to "Employees." Did that do it somewhere? I can open and edit the file, but save doesn't work.

Do you continue to do updates on customized skins?

Design and Skin Customization

Just had Paul customize my Projam Light skin, and now I see there's an update for it. If I do the update, will it overwrite my customized work? Please advise. Thanks, Dave.

Allowing All Users to Post to the General Blog

Using Jamroom

Hey folks. I created an account called "General" so that I could have a common forum for all users, and a blog that everyone could post to. Well, everyone can post to the forum, but only me as Admin and the user "General" can post to the blog. Is there a way I can open that blog to everyone for posting?

Reverbnation link and stats

Suggestions

Have you looked into creating a link for Reverbnation like we have for others such as Utube and Vimeo? And/or is there possibly anything in the works to create broader based statistics like Reverbnation gives a user on local and world music stats?

Out-of-the-Box Setups

Suggestions

I notice that nobody ever responded to my comment about adding Chat. It sure would be nice if that module was to be added. I see members on my site all the time now, and I would like to just say hello that way. I really don't want to add a third party chat to my system. Is there any possibility that Jamroom will be adding chat?

Out-of-the-Box Setups

Suggestions

Thanks Michael. I tried the clicking on "comments:0" and that works. However, I would like to see the timeline a bit more like Facebook, where we get a reply option if we just go to the timeline comment. The method you provided isn't intuitive for the users. Just my 2 cents.
