Thanks!

Off Topic

I don't think it can ever be said too often so I want to make sure I publicly say what I try to always say privately. I can't thank this incredible Jamroom team enough for the level of service they provide for us. In November we crossed the 10 year mark with these guys and there is a very good reason I'm still here. They created a great product that meets my needs and they provide world class service and all for a reasonable cost. I look forward to the next 10 years. You made it possible for me to solve a problem and provide a solution for my clients and thank you again for that.

Thanks again guys!
Charles

Are There Keyboard Shortcuts in JR?

Using Jamroom

Was just approached by a member who has sight problems and is restricted to using only a keyboard. Are there keyboard shortcuts for selecting menu items and downloads in JR?

Thanks!

Charting Issue

Using Jamroom

I'm trying to put together a standard response to the ever recurring question (twice today) and I'd like to know if this looks correct:

Red Arrow ( Up more than 10 positions over the previous 7 days)
Blue Arrow ( Down more than 10 positions over the previous 7 days)

Green Arrow (Up or Down Less than 10 positions over the previous 7 days)
DASH (Position unchanged)

(XXX) Number of position movement either up or down over the the previous 7 days

Charting Issue

Using Jamroom

@brian that's what I've been telling folks but the math is not adding up. See the attached image. In order for those numbers in the ( ) to be movement I'd have to have a lot more songs in the system than I do.

I'd like to find a way to just not display the numbers in the ( ). The arrows are easy to explain but the confusing numbers in the brackets are not.

Charting Issue

I don't think the (150) indicates a prior chart position because I have too many that are the same number. Example attached.

Charting Issue

Using Jamroom

michael:
"Was at position (150) moved down the chart, now at position 216"

But @michael wouldn't the arrow be pointing DOWN instead of UP if in fact the song had dropped from 150 down to 216? Why would it be pointing up if it went down? That's what makes this so confusing...

I'm only looking at removing the number (150) in this example. Not the current chart position number but only the one that causes so much confusion... :)

Charting Issue

Using Jamroom

I have tried for years to understand these numbers under the charting position number but it just has never made sense to me. And it always confuses the users. Can they just be removed? If so what are the templates/modules that would need to be changed? I'm using the Flashback skin.

Thanks!!!

Are there still lofi and hifi audio options in JR5?

Installation and Configuration

@andrusito I think the system default is to create the 128K file but I could be wrong..

The easy way to handle it is to just upload the file at 128K to begin with. I needed both file sizes for my site (Like JR 3 and 4 had) but the only solution I found was to create 2 sites. On one I upload a 320K file and on the other I upload a 128K file.

So in your case @andrusito I'd just upload the 128K file.

Having to log in twice

Using Jamroom

I'm using Chrome Win 7 as well. It could have been my evernote plugin on Chrome. I removed the plugin and it hasn't happened again so that may have been it.

Another odd thing is that I can't get the login info to save on this site even when the remember me box is checked. That really has me wondering about the cookies.
