Selling paraphernalia

Installation and Configuration

michael:
Its possible to use paypal via foxycart but requires a subscription to foxycart.com's services which are a monthly fee.

It currently doesn't work with the paypal module. If you need it right now, foxycarts the way to go, otherwise the paypal module needs extra code added.

The PayPal Buy It Now module allows to sell video and audio but not to sell paraphernalia. Please look into allowing to sell paraphernalia with PayPal Buy It Now module. This is all I have been trying to explain here. I don't need FoxyCart, it is not a good system and I can build a plugin for Jamroom 5 where I can Use PayPal and bypass FoxyCart, but I don't need the FoxyCart. All I want is to provide more options for my customers to use PayPal Buy It Now module to sell other things instead of video and audio alone. I hope you understand me now.

Selling paraphernalia

Installation and Configuration

People that register in Jamroom should be able to use the PayPal made for profiles. Profiles can use PayPal to sell there videos and Audios but not to sell paraphernalia from within their profiles. They can do this without FoxyCart. Please check again to understand what I am stating here. You built the Jamroom software but you act as if you are not understanding what I am saying.

I meant jrPayPal, PayPal Buy It Now module. I hope you understand.

Selling paraphernalia

Installation and Configuration

Hi Brian:
Currently, Profile PayPal Module and Merchandise Store only allows for the sell of Video and Audio items but there is no option to sell items like Hats, T-Shirts, scarfs etc.
It will be nice to add the option to sell paraphernalia like Hats, T-Shirts, scarfs, posters, coffee cups and that will be fine.
If this can be added, that should be enough for what profiles need to use the PayPal and merchandise modules.
Thanks so much.
Randolph

Hello:
I wanted to give the users the option to sell other merchandise using their profile PayPal module. In this case, I need to install all FoxyCart module?

Selling paraphernalia

Installation and Configuration

Hello:
How would I configure Jamroom 5 so that users may be able to sell paraphernalia like hats, T-Shirts from within their profile? All I can see are selling videos, audios etc.

Thanks so much.
Randolph.

Nevermind. I found the problem. The profile name was marketplace. This is not good since Jamroom Marketplace conflicts with the profile URL. I changed the profile name to market and everything works fine.
Thanks so much for your help

When I go straight to user profile to http://www.inspiramoments.com/inspirahome/marketplace,
I get the following error:

Something is not correct with the URL. How may this be fixed?
Thanks.
