Yes, you'll find a tool for it in your ACP > Profiles > User Profiles > Tools > Link User Accounts.

Strumelia is right, since you are the admin, you will not see a join button because you will automatically be a part of every group.

'De-activate Member' has glitch.

Using Jamroom

After deactivating the member, try reseting your cache: ACP > System Tools > Reset Cache

That should remove the member/media from your lists.
