Time Map error
Genosis

Do you have the jrGeo module installed and setup correctly?

I'm not seeing an issue on my dev site.

Auto Join main chat room
Using Jamroom

That list represents users that have used the chat within a certain amount of time, I think 5 minutes. Green means they are online, yellow means they are online but haven't used the chat for a period of time, and orange means they are offline.

You can't really compare that with the "Who's Online" as some users maybe online but not in a chat room.

Jeff Gilder:
Is it possible for this chat module to show users logged in?
Thanks!

It does this already by clicking on the person button at the top right of the chat window.

Hope this helps!

Birthday Module - Quota Config
Suggestions

PatriaCo:
Can a Quota Config be added to the Birthday Module? We have several quotas that this would not apply to. That way a birthdate field would not even show up in the profile_settings.

Thanks!

You can use the Form Designer to show the field to the quotas you want to show it to.

Hope this helps!

Quick Share Modal Window - item_share_modal.tpl
Design and Skin Customization

PatriaCo:
PatriaCo:
Sorry. Yes, this is the default item_share_modal.tpl found in the timeline module. I just need to know how the $template is supposed to function so that I can make adjustments.

<div id="share_item_box">
            {if $template}
                {jrCore_list module=$module search="_item_id = `$item_id`" limit=1 template=$template}
            {else}
                {jrCore_list module=$module search="_item_id = `$item_id`" limit=1}
            {/if}
        </div>

Thanks!

The variable for $template is created in the Action modules index.php I believe, don't quote me on that, if it does not get set the value would be "false".

Does that help any?

I don't think your giving us enough information on what your trying to do.

What skin is this for?
Is there an override template in the skin your trying to change?
What exactly are you trying to change?

Thanks!

Sorry Holly - maybe I am not seeing something. When I go here:

I can't scroll and the page is mostly blank. See my screenshot.

If this helps any, I get the same result as Brian.

Keith Mauck:
I'd like to add a note/alert for wayward NING migrants who get confused. thx.

You would want to create your own login form, as suggested by the link in my previous post, and then add your note/message to that.

Hope this helps!

Editing the Log In form

Sorry, I was thinking signup.

You can not edit the login form, not really sure why you would need to.

That form and page is built internally, it is not part of a template.

You can create your own login form if you like though.

https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/jamroom-developers-guide/603/howto-add-the-user-login-form-to-any-page

But I don't believe you can add anymore fields to it.

Hope this helps!
