Anyone using Mobilepay in Jamroom to receive payments?

Jamroom Developers

I am looking for setting up a webshop in Jamroom site. Mobilepay is getting big in Finland and would be a good way to receive money. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MobilePay

Is it available as a payment option with Stripe for your shops? (Mobilepay site says it should be, but I am not very familiar with these.)

Any experiences?

Starting blog view count problem

Design and Skin Customization

Got it sorted.

In the new site I am using the Fan Club skin. For some reason it has jrBlog_item_action.tpl in the skin templates that seems to rule over the blog module item_detail.tpl.

After adding the code to the skin .tpl everything is working smoothly.

Starting blog view count problem

Design and Skin Customization

Thanks for info.

The console does not open for me, using latest Firefox. Tried enabling developer mode, but that did not help either.

I copied the

{jrCore_counter module="jrBlog" item_id=$item._item_id name="blog_view"}

from my other Jamroom site, so it feels strange it works there but not on the new site.

Starting blog view count problem

Design and Skin Customization

I have succesfully added a blog view count to one Jamroom website earlier and now I am doing same thing to another one, but running into trouble. It has been several years, so not sure what I am missing.

As per this thread https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/suggestions/42409/item-view-count I have added...

{jrCore_counter module="jrBlog" item_id=$item._item_id name="blog_view"}

...to blog modules item_detail.tpl template.

Saved changes and cleared caches.

I was remembering the count would start automatically and "blog_view_count" would appear in the datastore item after first view, but it is not happening.

What I might be missing?

Chrome and Firefox going to versions 100, any problem for Jamroom?

Using Jamroom

Could this cause any problems with Jamroom?

"In the coming weeks, Google’s Chrome browser, Mozilla’s Firefox browser, and Microsoft’s Edge browser will all hit version 100. These milestone releases may sound exciting, but they also have the potential to cause havoc across the internet. As developers for all three of the browsers warn, some websites might break when they attempt to parse user-agent strings containing a three-digit version number. Therefore, all three companies are now trying to mitigate the impact before version 100 rolls out later this year."

How to easily figure out which .tpl to edit?

Design and Skin Customization

michael:
Why doesn't it help much, it should take you right to where you want to go.
For example I just had to edit the activity.tpl in forum module, because it came up with errors in Google Search Console.

Page url like https://example.com/forum/activity/10/username/p=2

In the source code for the page, the activity.tpl name does not come up and neither that it is from Forum module. (header.tpl, meta.tpl etc are showing as usual)

Figured the template out from the url, but with some core templates it is not that easy.

How to easily figure out which .tpl to edit?

Design and Skin Customization

michael:
For me the way I like to edit the templates is not from within jamroom at all, I like to do it from an editor that works on my computer.

I store a copy of my website on my computer and the software keeps the two in sync. I use "PhpStorm" but if you're only editing occasionally it might not be the best for you.
Thanks, that is very useful.

How to easily figure out which .tpl to edit?

Design and Skin Customization

I don't do much editing and part of it is that I have a hard time figuring out which .tpl to edit, so when I have to do something, it becames a chore.

And when done seldom, it is always a new learning process.

How you guys that do it frequently identify the right .tpl?

I have the thing enabled that puts the .tpl info in the source code, but that does not seem to help that much with module .tpls.

Adding more social network options?

Jamroom Developers

The available social network links in:
acp > skins > skinname > global config > social networks

Is there plans to ads more options?

Or does it need to be done to each skin separately?

Maybe add Instagram and TikTok?

And I think Google+ was taken down, so that option could be deleted?
