You've changed the profile biography field from a textarea to an editor field, which is fine except the the skin's artists_row.tpl template is truncating the output. If this truncation happens half way through an html tag, things will break.
Edit your artists_row.tpl template. Locate the two $item.profile_bio|truncate:150:"..." bits of code and change them to $item.profile_bio|jrCore_strip_html|truncate:150:"..."

As Gary said, they are Site Builder menu entries. Install and enable Site Builder and create the menu items you want with it.

Well, non logged in users can add stuff to their cart and when they then goto Checkout they redirected to the login page, which has a create new account option, so its 'smoothish'. Maybe a custom notice on that page would help further.


We have the eCommerce skin but at the moment that is geared towards using the old Store module. It needs to be updated to use the new Products module instead. I'll ask Nate if this can be done.

Thanks - Found it.
I think the problem is that when datastore key values exceed 512 characters, Jamroom splits the value over multiple database table rows, and in this case, only the first row is actually being searched.

I see that its your profile 'boptunez' that has all these influences. Where on the site are you doing the 'Find New Music' search?

Not as such, and it is normal (in my experience) to join a site when buying something from it, the idea being that its easier for when they are a 'returning customer'.
If you really want to just sell items to non-members, it may be easier just to add the PayPal 'Buy It Now' script to the product item templates.
