From Ning to Jamroom: an account in Jamroom... and now...?
Ning To Jamroom
Hi Fran - Welcome to Jamroom
First question - Is yours a Ning2 or a Ning3 site? If its Ning2 then yes, it can be imported to Jamroom in full. If Ning3, only your members can be imported (this is a Ning issue as they do not provide a full archive of Ning3 sites). If you're happy for me to check your Ning site out, let me have its URL and admin email and password and I can check it out, and also assess its size. I would then be able to advise you which import service to purchase for us to fully import the site to Jamroom (assuming its a Ning2 site).
If you use our hosting where you have setup the free trial, no further immediate purchases are necessary as you have free access to all Jamroom modules and Skins (including Ningja). The only ongoing fees would be our monthly hosting cost.
All Jamroom skins support multiple languages, and several of them do include Spanish language files. If however you do choose to use a skin without Spanish support, it is relatively straightforward for a Spanish/Englist speaker to translate and Jamroom includes to documentation and tools for you to do this.
Hope this helps
Paul
