Upgrade from JR4 To Jamroom 5 Now all of my vault files are lost!

Installation and Configuration

Is your JR4 site still accessible? Send me the url, admin and FTP logins and I'll see what can be done.
Thanks

Upgrade from JR4 To Jamroom 5 Now all of my vault files are lost!

Installation and Configuration

As I have said, all audio files are there and the JR5 database is correct and has the pricings imported from JR4. Please point me to some of the JR5 songs that are not showing the pricing that you think should, or the ones that you have issues with. I can then check them out to see what the problem is.
Thanks

Can the Like module be tweaked to act smarter in groups?

Using Jamroom

This is fixed in the next release of the Like module.

Upgrade from JR4 To Jamroom 5 Now all of my vault files are lost!

Installation and Configuration

Can you point me to a couple of audio items that were for sale in your JR4 system, and are not now, or have issues?
Also note that any unique JR4 vaults items (not linked to a song or video) are imported to JR5 as File items. Is it maybe these you think are missing?
Thanks

Upgrade from JR4 To Jamroom 5 Now all of my vault files are lost!

Installation and Configuration

I've just checked your database and media folders on your server and all priced audio items do seem to be there with appropriate files. Can you give me examples as to which audio items are giving problems?
Thanks

Using Jamroom

Let me check this out. I'm pretty sure that group discussions are 'owned' by the parent group, so that could well be the issue.

Sorry for the delay on this - In the Like module quota settings you can allow 'self likings'. Would that help?

Foxycart Payment Question

Using Jamroom

1) Not sure how it works in the US, but in the UK you might only be liable to pay tax on any profit made, ie., the commission.

2) FoxyCart does not work that way automatically. What I'd suggest is setting up several 'vendor' quotas with different levels of commission. You could then move the vendor profiles individually to the appropriate quota every month (say) prior to payout. Agreed, this might be a bit tedious if you have lots of vendors, and if that did prove to be the case, I think a relatively simple custom module could automate the process.

Foxycart Payment Question

Using Jamroom

The latter - All payments go to your account then there is a tool in FoxtCart to distribute income to your venders (less any commission you may have set).
