SteveX - Does your Google Maps module have this ability?

Your profile page is nothing like the current Ningja profile page. I think this is because you cloned from an old Ningja skin when it was like that and we had all the forum/discussion confusion.
If you want to keep this layout and fix things up on it, I'll work with you directly.

A quick google search brought up this -

It would be dead easy to build a module to do what you using that call. I did try it with my UK postcode as well and that worked, so I bet it works with any worldwide zip/postcode.

1) I bet google has an api that converts a zip code to latitude and longitude. If it has, a custom module could submit the zip code and then add the lat/lng to the user datastore. Range of any one user from another could then be calculated.

2) Not exactly what you suggest but the jrStrongPassword module would fit your needs -

Yes, its not needed, but is there for SEO purposes, to help search engine spiders/crawlers catalogue the page.
You also see it on item detail pages where the last part of the URL is the item title.

Where are you seeing this 'latest posts' link that is showing group posts instead of forum posts?

Showing forum topics that a profile has created should by just a case of adding a search parameter to the jrCore_list call in the template.
Where do you want this to happen?

Goto ACP=>Profile Groups=>Group Support=>Quota Config and disable groups for your member quota.

The problem is that the posters' profile name (gail-webber, benjamin-w-barr-jr, etc.) is in the url when it should be the forum's profile name (in your case, forums).
I'll check that out.
