I'm still not getting this. Even if 10000 members never updated their profile image so that there are 10000 identical default images in the archive, each one would be imported into JR when the member profile was created, so should be deleted when running the Delete Media tool. Is that not happening?

Do you still have graphic symbols as part of your name in the archive?
You, as admin, are the first to be imported and if those graphics are causing an error when the script tries to report your import to the modal window . . .?
Just speculating what might be happening.

I'm a bit unclear as to what all these duplicated photos are in the archive?
My understanding is that what should be left after deleting imported media and images is only what if referenced in the text strings, so unless someone was uploading blogs, say, with the same image every time, there should be no duplications.

I can't make this happen on my dev system. Have tried delete/create on profiles, audios and images. Works every time.
But as I said, I have seen it happen in the past. Its as though the server loses contact with the modal window but carries on with the job in hand anyway. Brian - any way this can happen?
Also, an obvious question, but are you on the latest jrNingImport release?

The Delete Media tool will clear out all imported images and media files, so that should reduced the total used disk space by up to a half.

When using the tinyMCE editor if you hit ENTER at the end of a line of text, it will put the next line into a new paragraph. However if you hold down shift and hit ENTER (shift+enter) then it will only put a line break.

Once Brian has done this for forum posts I will see if it can be adapted for comments also.
For voting items up and down checkout the jrLike module. That provides like/dislike options so just change its language strings as appropriate
