There is no foolproof step by step guide for the situation you're in.

First thing I would try is adding the database to a 6.1 site, then running the repair.php script

It might work, might not.

Good thing is you have the backup and can try as many times as you like.

The profile module does not have an item_index.tpl because you dont list profiles on a profile.

you list audio files that belong to the profile on a profile. You list blog posts of that profile on a profile........ but no profile has a list of profiles on a profile so it doesn't need an item_index.tpl file.

The bridge module is expecting that you're wanting to get things FROM a profile, not PROFILES.

But if you drop an empty file with the file name item_index.tpl into
/modules/jrProfile/templates/item_index.tpl

that hack allows the proxima bridge to work. not great but it works if you really need it.

I tried 'form_view' listener first, but that didn't work, so move it to an earlier listener 'module_view' and that kicks in effectively.

yes the image gallery will work without the Adobe editor. It will just be missing the button on the individual photo update screen that allows the photo to be edited.

You can see the editor at 2:30 ish of this video:

First thing that comes to mind is to not return TRUE for "is this a mobile device"

That looks doable by setting the 'jrcore_is_mobile_device' flag to "no"

and perhaps disable tablet detection as well:

One place to put this to make sure it always ran would be into the config.php file at:
/data/config/config.php

Add it to the bottom.

( Have tried it to check it works, but have not thought any further about the consequences of doing it. Expect that it would break the mobile menu system, possibly other things, not sure. )

If you have custom skin templates that override the jrVideo item_detail.tpl file, then the change that you probably need to make is search for "flv" and change it to "m4v".

The reason is m4v is now the default version.

video modules 'item_detail.tpl' page used to have:

Some of the jamroom skins over-ride the default video detail page with a template at:
/skins/(some skins)/jrVideo_item_detail.tpl

So if you've cloned a skin that has that file, it probably needs the update.
