Sending Message To Group members

Seam to be 2 ideas vying to be the topic in this thread:
1.) the ability for group owners to send an email to every member of the group
2.) the ability for user x to blast a list he happens to have with a generic message to "come join this site you've never visited because UNKNOWN-PERSON-A happens to have your email address. "

I can see #1 could be useful if its just for admins, I hate the idea of #2.

^^ What Strumelia said. The jrAdminMenu looks for the BODY tag and inserts itself there, even a custom skin should have a:
tag.

The only reason it might not turn up is if you put some classes or id's on the BODY tag.

Upgrading YouTube to newest version 1.2.0

This is an announcemnet as much as it is a blog post. YouTube/Google have change the way they allow Developers to access their data.

This has a big effect on the way the YouTube Support module works. There would be no need to change the way the module works, except that YouTube have cancelled their v2 API so its starting to no longer work.

It does seam to work on occasion, but it will get worse and worse, so today the new version of the YouTube Support module has hit the marketplace.

This new version 1.2.0 uses the updated current v3 API provided by YouTube/Google. However it does require registration in order to use it.

Youtube videos in the system now will still work, but you will not be able to add any new YouTube videos until the steps have been taken.

The YouTube module will be ready for release soon, but it will require steps taken to make it work again. Going to need a developers key and your site registered to be able to use it:

Is there a way to Unpublish or delete sitemaps?

You could delete them from the file system at:
/data/media/0/0/sitemap1.xml

Only the newsletter system:
your-site.com/letter/compose

But it divides on quota, not groups. Are you thinking from the point of view of the group owner being able to send messages, or the admin user.

Seams a little open to abuse if you let the group owner who is not the site admin send emails from your site.

The feature would need to be added, it doesn't exist right now.

Pending Items

for pending items. Nothing there then it could be an issue. anything in the emails that indicates what it is that was pending?
